Ayling has been getting plenty of stick too but tonight did anyone notice Gayle was playing? He kept him in his pocket the entire 90 minutes.

I do like how Cassila commands his area, a very confident keeper

Glad he got a clean sheet - felt he’s deserved it after last few games - all credit to BPF for what he’s done for us this season but I’m also glad we have Casilla now

Woo Hoo! How the **** did we do that? Four goals and a clean sheet against one of the best away teams in the league. Same team that played QPR and what a difference. If only they can keep this up we can dare to dream but take each game as it comes. Need Bamford to keep scoring and pay back the faith put in him.

On the training ground having Casilla will only help improve BPF. Casilla just has a presence about him, when you think we now have BPF and Casilla compared to some of the recent dross

We were clearly pumped up for this and I think the atmosphere added to that but key today was that they came to play and that gave us room to play. We’ve generally looked better against sides that don’t park the bus,

We have a terrible record in the first 15 minutes of games. Go back a few weeks to the Norwich game and we’re one down in 5 minutes, today we’re 1 up in 16 seconds. The tone of both games was set early.

Norwich score 3 deflected goals, today we get one.

Fine margins and a change of fortune

I'd have taken the playoffs at the start of the season too, but like you LOL, i'd be disappointed now if we have to go through that lottery after the way we have played and been top for most of the season, hopefully this is a blip and we can get our **** together and smash WBA and head for autos
<laugh><laugh>...no ****ing chance - you'd have a better chance of beating us.

(in fact I know you'd ****ing beat us <doh>)

Ahem <whistle>

You can thank me all for finding the secret to these night time performances.

Got in from work, had some food and settled down to watch the game. Fell asleep and woke up at half time to find we were 2-0 up.

Then remembered the same happened against both Derby and Swansea, in that I missed the first half of both those game too.

Unfortunately I watched the QPR game all the way through.

So we just need to play the remaining games during the midweek, and send me sufficient sleeping tablets to ensure that I sleep for 45 minutes per game :D

In all seriousness excellent performance and having just watched a WBA fan's video on Youtube, it was a very honest assessment of how we played tonight, and also gave me a wry smile, as the opinion of their own team, was probably very similar to the reaction from some of our fans after the QPR game.
