I don’t honestly think that would do it. They desperately need to retain all their best players and add more and improve areas that have got worse in recent years, notably in goal and at full-back. Realistically City and Pool aren’t going backwards any time soon so Spurs can at best go sideways.
Agueros and fernandino are aging and have a transfer ban coming their way imo. Stones is still ropey. I think next year things may change. As for pool they still have no depth up top and an injury or two will put them out next year. I agree though the spuds have far too much to fix and the only way they are doing that is by raising some funds
The key for Spurs is keeping Pochettino. He’s the real reason they have been able to flirt briefly with the illusion of a title challenge the last three seasons.
Alexander-arnold. What a lad... With Robertson the other side our team looks transformed. Has a teenager had that much impact on a balance of a team before?
We used Origi ffs and he scored. Sturridge, Shaq.... Then you look at the summer. Our defence is fine with Gomez coming back. You think we won't spend money Bobby Dazzler?
Nah, not really interested. Wake me up when Klopp has his next meltdown, I quite enjoy those. Otherwise Liverpool leave me cold. Incidentally, where were you when you were **** (last weekend)?
@Archers Road what was your thoughts on the atmosphere compared to normal? First half especially best I've heard in ages but I've not really been to many home games the past two seasons.
It’s been posted countless times already, ffs. Anything to say about your own team - you know, just for a change?
