.......and I'm not talking about the fans either.
OK, so we're not a passing team to rival the best or even average sides in this division, but we do have players who can hurt vulnerable opponents on the break. I'm so angry about the tactics last night against opponents who couldn't believe their luck.
We were at home against a side devoid of confidence, so why was Hoilett on the pitch in defensive role? He's been so poor this season generally except for those two spectacular strikes but Warnock chose to start him over Murphy. Midfield was a shambles with that setup. As hard as Gunnar and Bacuna tried, they are defensive minded and offer very little to the front runners other than set piece deliveries from dead balls or throw ins.
Felt sorry for Reid and Zohore. Reid had to work so hard dropping back to collect the ball that Ken became isolated - yet again. There was no link throught the middle of the park from back to front and when it came to the need to defend Manga and Bennett were woeful on the night. Manga can't pass a ball to save his life and Bennett can be way too flimsy on times - though I do like him generally.
I'm not convinced we've got the players to stay up, but am becoming more and more convinced that we haven't got the management either.
