I have not been on this nearly often enough, I hate the working life already!

Anyway, team for today lads, what are you all thinking?

I think we should go with the old 4-4-1-1 personally.

We really don't have much choice, we could go with two strikers but I do not feel confident that our strikers will score goals. I think we should push Nolan further up the field, he is more likely to take a chance than any of our strikers, and lets face it, we are not going to get many chances against Arsenal.

I will optimistically predict a 1-1 draw, Barton with a direct free kick.
 
Dream on if Arsenal are on a bad day we will lose by at least 2 a good day I dont want to think about it. i am not being defeatist and ves I desperately want to see us win but at the minute it feels like a lower division team v premeirship team with the state of our strike or rather lack of strikeforce. However our season will not be decided on games like this so feel we dont have a lot to lose anyway to-day so may as well have a go.

You're acting like this team is hopeless. This team would have drawn 0-0 at the emirates (due to Carroll not being here and all that)
 
Tonton, get a grip. I don't know about anyone else but I never predict my team to lose. I just cannot do it. Why can't we go and get a result against Arsenal? We won at the Emirates so I see no reason why we can't sneak a draw.

I generally predict us to lose as I seem to be like lawro <steam><wah>. Whatever I predict the result seems to get switched

Seriously though, did I miss anything on deadline day? I doubt it, nothing much happened last year. I noticed we've only signed Stephen Ireland but hey, at least we managed to keep hold of our best players. Right guys? <ok>

Joking aside, it's gotta be Ranger upfront. He looked class at the Emirates and got Squillaci sent off. Just the sort of bullish, hard-to-handle player we need against Arsenal.
