And big up to Alisson. Saved a massive chance and pretty much dealt with everything that came his way with ease.

A couple of nervous kicks but overall, he was solid.

VVD and Fabinho the only people who play without nerves.

Its not a matter of we are not good. Its a matter of degree of beleif.

Do you believe that from here city will drop 6 or 9 points in the last 11 games. If you suspend the red tinted glasses and objectively look at it theres just a few hopes.

a) they drew swansea in FA cup QF so they can rest aguero for example there. mahrez can play, gundogan etc

b) They are in CL, they didn't destroy shalke so have to focus on that next leg but shoudl be in next round.

c) they played league cup final for 120mins and have two games following it up.

d) fernandinho might be injured.

e) city must go to old trafford still. city must play spurs.

But for every point theres a counter claim on the other side for us.... Its about beleif. And I am sorry but I can smell the fear off our players. every safe pass, every time the hold the ball rather than pass, every time they float a long ball rather than try pick a pass. We didn't do this before the city game. We destroyed arsenal then we tied up v city and since then we've let not 6 points go imo form very good positions. the pressure is ratcheting up and I just don't see players standing up and being brave.

Agreed.

The midfield in particular bottled it. As in no pressure at all on them and they didn't want to turn on ball at all, just get it away from me attitude.

Before the game, a point at OT was ok. However given the circumstances during the game, this was a massive chance to take all 3 points. Klopp needs to be more aggressive

agreed. our record there was awful so i said many times a draw wouldn't be too bad but once the game started and utd disintegrated before our eyes what we did was so poor.

A) young was too scared to come out of his half

b) rashford couldn't run up front

c) lukaku as RM second half?? Joke.

d) their midfield duo couldn't pass it. they were pish.

for me we were scared of it. we couldn't get out of our own half against that? there was zero pressure on Henderson and windy and they were truly abysmal.

we did the same against city as well, they came for a draw and we didn't go at them when we should have.

still manage to be top even though we have missed opportunities.

Yes. So now what happens?

for the record NOBODY. NOBODY wants us to win this more than me.

Hopefully this is the last of a ‘long’ break in between games. We seem to lack sharpness after this stupid training camps.

Klopp needs to be more aggressive now. We set up with a defence minded midfield and he should have changed the style or personnel accordingly after their injuries. Matip was running through their side ffs, and none of our midfielders tried it.

Fabinho Gini Keita has to be the midfield going forward now.
I keep saying those holidays are bad for us but people seem to think I'm joking.
