Exactly! Thankfully I'm 6'4"-6'5" (I should probably measure) and not exactly spindly so being stronger than most helps with pushing people off the ball. Also helps with giving away penalties.

    Striker/Winger.
    18 years old
    Right footed
Best speciality is probably my crossing and corners.
I'm more of an accuracy type player than power.

When I started to play when I was 11, first game, first touch, first goal. No joke! It was more of a toe punt as well.

Was usually a sub when playing for my local team but played little matches in my final two years.

    I played 3 full 11 a side seasons.
Season 1-playing on wing (2 goals and a few assists)
Season 2- playing wing/striker (4 goals and a few more assists)
Season 3- playing as striker 4 games 4 goals

I'm not blessed with such height, measuring up at just about 6ft...hence why I just tend to stick to a holding midfield role. Anytime I played football at school, I always seemed to be the only person who tackled seriously. Needless to say some people didn't like it <ok> Never made a team though :(

Tackled seriously as in diving in two footed? :D I never slid in (it was against the rules of the five a side league, and in any case **** diving on astroturf) but my idea of tackling properly was to leave a foot in challenges. Needless to say some people didn't like that!

Nope! Never two footed, even on grass <laugh> If i was playing in a playground or something with just concrete, I'd still leave a foot in if i was going for the ball. Sometimes I got the ball, sometimes the man, and sometimes I just aimed for the man because it's more fun that way. I had a knack for pissing people off :)

    <laugh> Will...

And one of those goals was the one where you just lashed it with your right peg and it flew into the near post's top corner, wasn't it? That was sublime.

Your technique was basically just to assault the other players and commit niggly fouls to piss them off. ****ing hilarious to watch, specially abusing baldy. You were a bit of a Lee Cattermole, with the odd moment of brilliance.

Use to play midfield until my late teens, had no pace at all lol but had a few skills and an eye for a pass. Once scored from the half way line with a chip that hit the cross bar and bounced in. Fluke maybe lol.

Then became coach of under 18s football team and got us promoted twice. Before resigning due to ill mental health which im battling with now.

I mostly play as a deep-lying forward. The guy who normally partners me up front is insanely quick and powerful so I drop behind him and set him up with through balls. Sometimes he holds it up and sets it up for me, but generally he does most of the scoring. I'm also pretty tall so I can make a good target man.

After a great one-two with you, it was!

I'll take that as a compliment ;) You were the Messi of the team, the amount of goals you came up with.

Can play anywhere except in goal, mainly played upfront as I was rapid and knew where the goal was. Played a few games at CB and on the wing.

Started off playing as the left forward of a 3-4-3, scored 100 goals in two years (32) games. another 15 in 9 cup games. Occasionally played CB to give another guy a chance up top.

After two years moved up a division, played up top banged in 38 goals in the first season. Seond season banged in 22 before xmas then got injured, tore my aductor. carried on playing in a DM role as I couldn't sprint.

End of the season, left for Salisbury played on the right side of 4-3-3, first year dicked all over the league, banged in 18 goals which wasn't bad seeing as I was playing on a side that I wasn't used to.
Second season played the same position again, or right midfield depending what formation we played, Scored 9 goals before smashing my back up in a horrible incident, didn't played 2 more games for Salisbury from the bench scoring 1 goal.
Whilst at salisbury played 14 reserve games, got paid (at 16 £50 for pissing around on a footy pitch was ****ing brilliant). Played upfront in all the games, scored 12.

Hovered in and out of Portsmouths feeder academy as they didn't have one of their own as well as having periods in saints academy. I didn't start playing until I was 10 so don't think i've done badly.

Came back to play mens football when I was fit again. Played hampshire league which was a pretty average level but I was easy to get match fitness back. Moved to a wessex team, got injured again, gave up and went back to Hampshire league and played when back from uni.

Mainly played CM or 'in the hole' in mens football, as it was so easy to tear defences open. Scored double figures as well. Played about 10 games up top as a target man, although i'm only 5'9, i'm yet to find someone that can beat me in the air. Also the reason i've filled in at CB when needed.

Oh yeah, played district and county as well.

Striker. 10 in 5 so far this season which makes me one of the top, if not, the top scorer on the Island.

I'm 6ft 1, strong with a good jump on me, good first touch and a bit of a poacher.

Attacking midfielder in my youth days when my team used to rip the tyro league a new one. Since then I've been part of a few academies including Saints but with injuries it never happend for me, aswell with a few off the field problems. Havent kicked a ball since , spose I just lost the love of playing. Still proud of the lad's from back then have made it pretty big clubs in the Football league and Prem.
