To all who knew him...Sorry for your loss of Burly...hope he gets a good send off and his family and friends get a little comfort from people showing respect to him on here.
I like this place and the kindness shown to him and his family makes me like it that bit more :emoticon-0152-heart

This is a good place. I know we all give each other ****, but that's part of the bantz and I think most people get that without flying off the handle. There's always one or two who throw their toys out of the pram, but for the most part it's good lads having a laugh and when people are struggling everybody is quick to offer support. It's heartening to know that strangers on an internet forum have genuine concern for each other, especially when on the surface, it just looks like we're trying to wind each other up.

Burly encompassed that spirit on here. Always the gentleman and always there to have a kind word to say about people. He represented all that was good about this place. God bless ya Burly. <peacedove>

Can someone tell me how to do it please ?

Tried to load this as my profile photo. It won’t let me. File is too big. This was the squad that United lost to in my first visit to OT in 1984 . We lost 3/2 .

Man U and Sunderland have had some good matches down the years (usually you win). But i'm sure he enjoyed most of them.

League cup semi, was it Ambrose with the screamer?

Darren Ambrose? For Palace?

When Sunderland won there, Phil Bardsley got a late goal in extra time then someone equalised for United even later. The shootout was a bit of a farce.

Doubt two-legged semi-finals will be a thing for much longer. Like replays, the big six will see to that.
