I have mixed feelings about this given the nature of his departure from Arsenal. On the one hand you do not ever want to wish ill on another player or human being. On the other hand he really has made a right idiot of himself in the way he has acted; it's hard not to see the funny side of this especially since seeing he came on as a 75th minute substitute.

Oh piss off. Nasri's been 100% respectful to the club, even put in a good shift for us against Liverpool even though it was obvious he wasn't going to be playing for us anymore. He's not said a bad word about the club. Hating him just for going somewhere else is just moronic.
We're angry at him because the main reason he left was that man city would pay him a lot more, and he made excuses to cover that up. Having said that I am not too annoyed at him because given the state of the team now it seems like he has made a good career move.
I'm angry at the clubs who are ruining the game. Chelsea created the 'money no object' strategy, Man Utd copied to stay ahead of the game and Man City are simply re-writing the book. Those attempting to copy the big boys in order to compete (Leeds, Portsmouth to name but 2) put the clubs people and history in danger. Players like Nasri (and many many others) have been created by an industry that lives in a 'highest bidder wins' world - his dishonesty with the club riled everyone, me included, because everyone knew it was only pound notes that turned his and his agents head, nothing more, to lie about it just irritates the people who idolsied him and effectively paid his wages. Can someone please tell me what you can do with £160k a week that you can't do with £110k a week ? I make yesterdays comments by Alex Macleish spot on.
Grizzly hit the nail on the head. It bothers me whan a player like Nasri, on the back of only half a season of playing to his potential, effectively decides he is worth far more than he actually is (agents share a lot of the blame for this type of thinking to be fair). Clubs like Manchester City, and Chelsea before them, are the enablers of this kind of delusion. One more point. If you want to see how a classy player departs one club for a new one just take a look at Arteta's comments when he left Everton. That is how a player with integrity acts.
Grizzly I don't blame the clubs for doing it, some teams will do anything to get success and if like man city you have got the money to do it then why hold back? Football, like all sports is essentially selfish and you can't expect one team to hold back from doing everything they can to win (i.e. throwing ridiculous amounts of money at it) because it will distort the game. If we want this type of thing to stop then we need to regulate it more strictly, and thats up to UEFA. The financial fair play rules are a good step in the right direction and I hope a maximum wage and transfer fee are introduced too.
Fair points RVB, but I see football clubs as businesses and I don't see how any club can operate year on year with massive losses, any normal business would be liquidated and debts called in very quickly. The clubs owners need to recognise that clubs represent communities and they've got an obligation to safeguard the long term security of who they own, clubs also employ hundreds of people, how can it be right that the workers don't get paid/get laid off then someone rocks up, buys the club and starts flashing millions around with complete disregard for fianance. Football has allowed the Chelseas and Man Citys to run the game with chequebooks, the introduction of salary cap and/or other initiatives will go some way to ensuring a kind of level playing field, otherwise we may all as well sit back and watch the big 3 chequebooks battle each otehr and see who wins.
I guess a lot of clubs aren't scared of the losses because they see all the other successful clubs spending beyond their means and they believe that they are too big to have any serious consequences because of it. By the way I am rvf rather than rvb
