Why the fook have they got a big shiny new stadium, they can't even half fill Wembley!

Even lowly league Sunderland get more than that, in League One, so let us look at the possible excuses why...

HiaG - pretending to play guitar in prep for the blue rinse brigade
NSIS - preferred watching movies instead
Spurlock - off his head on wacky backy
    RCL - bus touring

Obviously feel free to expand on the list or amend the reasons differently <ok>

Tbf it’s a long old schlep out to Wembley from North London. But do any Spurs fans actually live in North London?

How does that work? ... do you massage your radiator with baby oil whilst singing Barry White songs to it?

Iv'e been as flat as a fart since Burley passed, still can't get my head around how quick and he's gone. People say that losing someone close that isn't fam can leave it's mark, then I sure am evidence of that.. Night all and be happy..

When my mother died, back in 2006, one of my female cousins (lost her dad when she was 3 and her mum in her early 20s) said to me "You can still talk to her you know ... I talk to my mum" ... part of me thought "what the **** <yikes> " ... but you know what, I started doing it ... when on my own, of course ... and a bit awkwardly I'll admit ... but it helped ... and I'll still do it if my kids do something I'm proud of etc ...

Now you may think I'm bats <laugh> ... but try it with Burley mate ... just give it a go ... nowt to lose <cheers>

Can't believe I'm using this ****ing thread <doh>

I've been up again all night, second time in a row. They tell me that 3 is critical and that's when I can start losing it. My minds racing, at the moment. I've got loads on with work having to do my accounts and also constantly jumping between the doctors and hospitals. I'm on my own up here, there's no support and it's weighing me down, I think. Oh well.

Hang in there mate - in terms of the sleep thing, I can only offer what works for me - I take a mug of hot milk with a spoonful of honey and a good shot of rum, brandy or whisky to bed with me - I then read a book - something not too heavy or real / current life - if you haven't read Game Of Thrones, there's a suggestion - I also like history books - the rationale is to replace the things otherwise playing on your mind / going through your head, with some escapism that takes you to a different place - keep sipping the drink - it works for me and I sincerely hope it will work for you.

For me pills are not the answer - people that take them seem to develop even more problems ... <hug>

I go for a walk at lunch 3 or 4 dsys a week for 45 mins. I put talksport on cos its about nothing serious or I simply count mysteps in my head.
I find I clesr my head doing this and it helps me chill.
I do the same after work for about 40 mins to an hour.
I find I am calmer and fitter and instead about obsessing about stuff not good for me I now obsess about trying to walk 15,000 steps a day (approx 7 miles) which I do most weeks.
May not be your thing but hopefully you'll find something thst works for you <ok>
