It’s mostly because we don’t have a big enough or good enough squad.
Injuries to key defenders have screwed our defence, which has been the bedrock to our success thus far. Even VVD is struggling from illness.
If we had a fully fit squad, then I’d be confident of us seeing out the season. But at the moment, we look vulnerable
while i agree with your main point it was a bit more than couple of injuriesNot sure you can be blaming injuries. Spurs have managed to stay consistent through injury and have dug in. Plus your team should still be beating the likes of Leicester and west ham with just a couple of injuries (basically gomes and taa). Hell even west ham were missing theie best striker and centre back
You have thrown the cups to make sure your players arent over exerted
while i agree with your main point it was a bit more than couple of injuries
Gomez
Taa
Wijnaldum
Henderson
Lovren
plus AOC
PS on a side note i have consistently argued that Spurs have a deep squad which most people (including their own fans) just seem to overlook.
Didnt know winja was injured. Everyone hates lovren and hendo (generally)
Spurs have had far more injuries this year (i also think they have a better squad).
They havent had alli for most of the season, kanes out for a couple of months and son has been on internationals twice. Erikssens also been out for a month or two. Theres been zero injuries to your front 3 relatively
so was theirs they just have more cover. Our defence has been decimated this year. This has been the biggest contributing factor to our position.

well only 1 RB injured but it's ok MF's can coverStill first teamers
That's a benefit [HASHTAG]#luckedout[/HASHTAG]
Our issue is more that the injuries are in similar positions
Don't believe everything you read.Didnt know winja was injured. Everyone hates lovren and hendo (generally)

The wrong time to look like a mid table side fortunate to get a point at West Ham. We could easily have lost that game. And were it for that PGMOL shocking decision (astro take note ) we would have been destroyed by the home side. They missed quite a few sitters so we ought to be grateful for small mercies.
Klopp kept dropping TAA earlier in the season to accommodate Lovren, moving Gomez to RB. As much as I don't agree with Joe at RB, you could make a argument for him being the preferred option there![]()
so loan out his understudyI think this was more about not wanting to overplay TAA as he is still young and learning

At least these nights give your mob some much needed joy![]()
OK so let's say we even lost against West Ham with the correct offside decision
But we get an extra 2 points from the Arsenal game where Mané's goal was incorrectly disallowed
So still a point better off than now
And we get the Keita penalty, so we're 3 points better off than now
And then imagine how things would change if the rules for yellow cards were consistently applied to Fernandinho?
All I want is referees to be as correct and consistent as possible
PGMOL
so loan out his understudy![]()
apart from the fact he was injured and by then there should have bee worries about when he would be fit to return. If TAA was first choice, Gomez was the understudy. Or vice-versa if Gomez was the preferred RB.
Both apparently picked up injuries from only playing 1 game in the last week.No connect between midfield and attack. What the **** happened with Hendo and Wiji?

Put it this way we can hardly moan about injuries leaving gaps if decisions made by the club have exacerbated them .
I'm not moaning about injuries, they happen.
Clyne was (and still is) **** and wouldn't have offered what we are currently missing regardless so it's no loss imo.
