Firmino hasn’t been as good as he was last season - maybe to do with the change of position.

But we’ve taken the lead in the last two games and struggled to see it through. The defence is no longer bailing us out, and our more measured build up play doesn’t see us creating many clear cut chances anymore.

I maintain Trent is arguably our biggest loss - his defensive ability is underrated but its his ability going forward. We’re losing that attacking threat down the right so there is w bigger burden on Robbo who has been poor for a short while. Trent gives us good balance between def and attack, but also left and right sides of the pitch.

Gomez’s pace at CB is badly lacking. And Klopp mentioned yday that VVD lost a lot of weight due to the illness.

The squad is struggling and not everyone is fully fit.

Apart from that, we’re ok :)

We need to regain some form and quickly, no doubt about it that only 3 points will do Vs Bournemouth and then it's...:emoticon-0130-devil

We need to sort ourselves out and quick

I’m sure we will. Just enjoy the ride for now - in my opinion, we have no business being ahead of City for so long. The fact that we are is huge credit to klopp and the players.

I'm very happy with our position but the last night was a poor game, get back into vs Bournemouth and then OT will be interesting.

To lose the title when we had it at our mercy would be so very frustrating. The players shouldn’t give up yet. We are 3 points ahead and we are almost in the finishing straight. We just have to keep winning and to slow things down at this point would be criminal. Why should we credit Klopp and the players after 25 matches? No man we should say it when they are lifting the trophy after 38 matches, not before. We don’t pat someone in the back for being ahead 2/3 of a marathon, do we?

Are you saying we are in a false position and that logically City should win the title? Just hope that the players and Klopp think differently.

we literally play 3 decent sides in 13 and the rest should be cannon fodder to all top 6 sides.

there's no excuse here. people are already making excuses up. whatever people say when in the position a bun cb of ****s at leicester got it done
we should have had 7points clear alright now.. we have 3... from here... no excuses.

    period

it's a bottle job if we flop given the games left.

it will be decided by Utd away and spurs home games for each side.... or should be

if it's decided by Newcastle or wolves last couple we deserve all the slagging.

so let's quit the loser talk.

Love the optimism, this board needs more of it. However, just need to point out that we just played Leicester and West Ham.

The problem imo is that the fluency upfront was lost when we went more defensive this season & we are struggling to re find it when it is now desperately needed as the defence is no longer solid.

It’s mostly because we don’t have a big enough or good enough squad.

Injuries to key defenders have screwed our defence, which has been the bedrock to our success thus far. Even VVD is struggling from illness.

If we had a fully fit squad, then I’d be confident of us seeing out the season. But at the moment, we look vulnerable

I wonder what they were doing in Dubai as we are yet to see any new vigour in our play.

Yesterday highlighted how much Gini has been brilliant for us. He really helps out defensively on the over loads.

That said, we have 10 days to Bayern Munich and this should allow the players enough time to heal. I'd actually not play TAA in the bournemouth game if Wij and Hendo are fit.

Haven't been on since the game and cba reading back. I'll just say that we were abysmal and lucky to come away with a point.
