    But in all seriousness, my fear is Dogs running towards me. Age 5 I got bitten by a dog and almost lost my eye, ever since then I just flinch a bit when they run towards me.

    <laugh> Don't worry I often use it as an ice breaker for empty conversations, my cousin takes the piss out of me every chance he gets for that.

    My sister is scared of dogs (has no reason to be, was never attacked or anything) but I don't really have any irrational fears I don't think? Getting old maybe?

    Flying and sharks.

    Flying because when we went to Ibiza when I was 6 (1970) we flew out there in a terrible thunderstorm and flew back home in an even worse electrical storm. My elder sister also hates flying.

    Sharks because I saw the film Jaws on holiday in Weymouth when I was 11 or 12. I wouldn't go in the sea for the rest of the holiday and even now I am uncomfortable in deep water.

    Reading this there seems to be a theme. Obviously scarey things happen when I go on holiday.................better stay at home from now on.

    I also don't like the thought of ever having bad teeth. Working in betting shops, I often see people who have less of a collection of teeth but more like a mouthful of broken crockery. With cat **** on it. I'd hate for my teeth to ever look like that.

    I knew a girl from school who had an absolute fear of velvet. If she felt the texture of it you could see it almost making her physically sick <laugh>
