Just watched the highlights of Everton v Wolves...Oh my god, Everton are sooooo bad.

I thought that I'd do a little bit of investigating and it appears that they are paying Chelsea a loan fee of £7.1m for Kurt Zouma. I'll just leave that to sink in........

Wolves are quite good though.
Everton fans expect their team to dominate and attack them.
Wolves picked them off with ease.

Didn't we have a thread for dodgy refereeing decisions? If so the waived away penalty in the first half of Burnley v Soton for the home side is the worst I have seen. Keeper wipes out Barnes and Barnes gets booked. WTF.

I think the ref knew he had messed up because he should have sent Barnes off for his rant at the assistant

Chavs get a penalty that was outside the box. (apparently confirmed by lino!) Huddersfield don't get a penalty when Christansen stands on opponents foot (although exaggerated dive)
Oh well....

Was the penalty decisive? Hard to say. It was in the 45+1 minute. Going into the break 1-0 down instead of 2-0 would clearly be better psychologically, but Chelski would most likely have won. On the other hand, there are no certainties and you cannot read anything into the final result. I remember many years ago a very bad WetSpam team getting a 0-0 at Stamford Bridge under Maureen. I'm sure that if a dodgy pen had gone to Chelski the argument would have been "well it doesn't matter because Chelsea were going to win anyway". Fact is that unlikely results do happen, so you absolutely cannot excuse bad decisions on the basis that they went with the result you might expect.

As for exaggerated dive - hardly worth mentioning as certain players do nothing apart from exaggerated dives!
 
I need a few brandys, which will play havoc with my gout, because I have to handle myself not wanting the goons and the spam to lose today, draws would be good.
I've set up shop in Benidorm for a couple of months and couldn't help noticing a cannabis club. Anyone know if it is legal here? It looks like one has to be a member to get into the club. NSIS, any advice?
 
I have gout in my right big toe. Acertain pill removes to pain......30years of football did that,I bet! What does cannabis do? My pills are all legal....I think!
