Sorry for the volume of pics this weekend Mr Lardiman, but as you can see, this ground is full of character and very quirky.

Stourbridge share with the Cricket Club, and as you can see for club cricket their pavilion is fantastic with bags of character.

Even though Stourbridge are riding high top of the table they still struggled to dispatch Banbury. A very even game was settled when Stourbridge opened the scoring around 50 minutes then after that they cantered to a victory.

Should Stourbridge go up they will then be in the Conference North, only two promotions from League 2.

Good to see the photo's Lardi and Elf. I remember goin there back in the eighties and being surprised that the ground was attached to the cricket pitch, but for all that its a nice ground as I remember, and I remember enjoying the bar!! It's also way better tan Chelmsford - I really detest those football grounds with an athletics track round the Edge, though given the finances at the foot of the pyramid, some clubs have no choice but to ground share.

Have you finalised your ongoing schedule yet? If you have, I'd like to take a look.

Mr Lardiman, please, no need for apologies.

An apology is never needed when you are doing people favours.

Basildon v Brentwood was where I took the protest to last week.

Basildon play in the Bostik North, their ground a short bus ride from Basildon train station.

I met an old mate of mine who now follows his home town team Basildon, him and his mates were telling me not to expect much as they had not won since September, I was their lucky charm as they won this game 2-1 with around 120 fans watching.

This was a cracking quirky little ground, three sides having no stands but the fourth having three, although one was roped off as some building work was being carried out to it.

At this level the hospitality was again first class, bottles of Peroni were guzzled during the game and I was able to obtain a badge through the mate of mine.

Non-League football at it's finest.

There are numerous games I attend where the gates are only double figures, it is amazing how clubs survive. Consequently, there are lots of clubs who groundshare.

The tiddler has a tiddler in this weather.

I'm struggling badly for a game today, even the 3g pitch matches are being called off.

A hectic morning scouring various club's twitter feeds, making telephone calls and sorting out travel arrangements around information I have been getting.

Bracknell was the first option but that has been postponed, so I am off to Hayes and Yeading v Hertford. Hayes is NOT a very nice place, unlike the Hayes in Kent.

First of the day waiting for the choo choo to take me to 'delightful' Hayes.

They've got a nice stand there. As for Hayes? There are nicer places in West London, but there are plenty worse too...
