Another wonderful comedian taken too soon was Linda Smith, a great friend and foil of Jeremy Hardy on TNQ. She would have been 61 this week.
But to cheer us up, a classic LS joke about her home town:
'Erith isn't twinned with anywhere but it does have a suicide pact with Dagenham.'
