Platinum and gold only though.
I've said this so many times Wakey, but I'll say it again. I've been a member in some sort of capacity since the 80s. I've seen crowds go up and down depending on success. Met fans travelling over again who stopped going when success died. I mighten get to 40 odd games a year, but my loyalty has never died. I've forgotten the point I'm trying to make. So I'm stopping now...<laugh><doh>

Look on the bright side at least we now have a perfect spy in the Swansea training camp who can tell us their systems, formations and starting XI without us having to send someone to peer through their fence  <whistle>
Although Essex, this could be the last time we play them for a while:grin:

If last night hadn't have happened the big news today would be sending out Sam Dalby to Morcambe and Tom Pearce to Scunny. I believe this should be seen in a positive light and we get back improved, experienced players. Pearce is a known quantity to most of us, but Dalby for me is a bit special and hopefully will turn out to be a huge star. WJ and a couple of the guys will have seen him with the 23s

Disagree on the Pearce loan.

He's a first team squad player and after Douglas the only recognised left back we have. Allioski has been doing great but if Harrison/Clarke/Hernadez get injured or suspended then our squad is light on numbers.

In addition being in a promotion winning squad would in my opinion be better for his footballing education than being at Scunthorpe for a few games.

what will happen if he plays against us and misses a couple of sitters.ohhh the conspiracy theorists would have a field day.

Yes and if James had landed we had enough cover on the left in defence, but James didn't happen so potentially a prob.

Check what the papers are saying and the Telegraph another kicking Swansea

The fact is that you wanted to sign him on the cheap - not paying anything now, but rather pay £1.5m in the summer, with the £8.5million permanent deal dependant on you getting promotion, which would be paid across 3 years.
Sounds like a terrible deal for Swansea. What happens if you don't get promoted ?
Terrible terms to be expected to agree to.
Sounds like Leeds also don't have much money to play with to me.

Morning Stereo, you're probably right, we don't have the kind of money that Brom, Villa, Boro and several others have.

I think the club are very conscious that we may not go up, and didn't want to be left in a hole if things went wrong.

What do you think James's true value is?
