There’s no denying Rabiot comes across a bit of a big time Charlie but in fairness to him, there hasn’t been any actual proof that he said those exact words. One article was written and then a number of others copy and pasted it onto their sites to make it look credible, yet there’s nothing quoted from the horses mouth.

Plus, would he say such a thing when two of his former team mates recently done the exact same move? He wouldn’t just be dissing Spurs with those quotes, he’d be mugging off Moura and Aurier too.

Finally, for all the personality problems we feel he has, he’s (so far) donated the second highest amount towards the search for Sala on the reported Go Fund Me page with £25k, only Mbappé (£30k) has given more, can’t be that bad of a person.

We probably won’t even sign him anyway but I think it’s best to give the benefit of the doubt, at least until there’s actual evidence of him saying those supposed words, we all know how the media likes to **** stir, especially with Spurs.

Eriksen Watch
Diario AS are reporting that, because Levy all but laughed in Los Ladrones' faces when they attempted to sign Eriksen on the cheap (reportedly somewhere between £45-70m) they have decided that Eden Hazard is their preferred target.

And this, people, is why Levy's stubbornness has its benefits...provided Eriksen signed a new contract, anyway.

Rabiot Watch
So you've presumably heard about Aurier tagging him in an Instagram post yesterday, which had the rumour mill on full alert? According to Paris United it was Serge sending his condolences after Rabiot's father died.

Oops...

Yeah I think we have to give him the benefit of the doubt if he was to come, until proven otherwise. It's a headline that is easy clickbait - because its us - so it is no surprise that it did the rounds. I doubt we would be going near him if we thought he was that bad an apple because Poch won't stand for it, and he has four easy character references to draw on from Aurier, Sissoko, Moura and Lloris, all of whom must know him in some capacity. Not to mention the wider due diligence that I'm sure is done in regard to character when players are recruited these days.

Part of that due diligence must surely involve his mother/agent somehow forgets to board the plane in Paris...
