Monaco supposedly looking to re-sign Jardim. He's an absolute mug if he goes back there. Built a fantastic squad with the likes of Bernardo Silva, Mbappe, Falcao Fabinho, Lemar, Bakayoko, Mendy, wins Ligue 1, gets to semi final of CL, gets to final of a French Cup, then at the end of the season in the summer, sees his squad ripped apart through a number of sales of most of the players listed above, doesn't get to reinvest enough to compensate for losses and bring in adequate quality, Monaco inevitably decline, board sack Jardim, replace him with Henry now they wanna go crawling back to him. He's far too good for them.
Hang on, they won the league but all their players left? But the lunatic fringe says winning trophies keeps players!
****e league though mate. Still, Monaco board are ****ers for sacking Jardim after they sold so many and then replaced them with much inferior quality. What did they actually expect? The guy already worked one miracle in building a phenomenal team and conquering PSG, were they expecting another?
Doesn't matter, trophies are apparently the sole reason why players stay at clubs - which is why van Dijk is still at Celtic...
They've got to point the finger at someone, though. What else could they do? Accept responsibility for their own actions?
Sort of like how they don't seem to have any chants about their own club but plenty about us. You'd think we were the club that moved into their back yard or something...
