Going back to the Irish team, there's one issue with their young talent that the usual suspects are content to ignore, even though it's been staring them in the face

Jack Grealish - played for Ireland at U17, U18 and U21 level, only to switch allegiances and choose to represent England
Declan Rice - played for Ireland at U16, U17, U19 and U21 level and has even been played for the senior squad in three friendlies, yet he's umming and ahhing about whether he wants to represent Ireland or England

Of course there's another reason staring them in the face that they don't seem to acknowledge: Roy Keane giving players a damn good reason to consider switching their allegiance to England, because not only are a lot of fingers being pointed in Keane's direction for Declan Rice stalling on declaring if he wants to play for England or Ireland, it is worth bringing up that Keane was mouthing off to his mates in the press three years ago when Grealish was in a similar situation

Give the rampant club rivalry in the squad around that time, what would have been the benefit in throwing a whole load of gasoline on that existing fire?

He might have pushed a young John Terry under the team bus.

Just go thru the motions to stay injury-free, Sonny.
There is no longer national service punishment for you.

The real story is the potential Group D decider is between Iran and Iraq, two countries noted for being civil towards one another...

Son wins a penalty, which is something that he must've forgotten could happen:

    Son on corner taking duty:

Why doesn't he take ours? Finished 2-0.

Sonny's Korea have lost in the QF of the Asian Cup.

Does this mean he comes back now?
