Thing is shaks. I’m no happy clappy. I’m cynical and generally glass half full. But seriously if you can’t be happy this season you never will be. I get people are scared the wheels will come off because they have before... and bielsa’s sides have a rep for falling away.

It just frustrates the hell out of me when people can’t differentiate between a fall off in form and a fall off in results. The side has weaknesses, the style of play has weaknesses sometimes they will bite us sometimes they won’t. We were playing worse during the 7 match winning streak than we have in most of this losing 4 in 5 run.

It’s just football fans. You can get battered from pillar to post, have the opponents miss sitter after sitter and fluke a 1-0 win like we did at boro a few years back and have people tell you it was a great battling away performance. We lost 3-0 there about 6 months later when they had 2 shots, bellusci scored a spectacular own goal...we dominated the game had a goal disallowed... and we were a shambles apparently.
<applause>

We have lost three games in a few weeks. Two of the wins especially villa were come from behind last minute jobs. I want us to go up autos but we dont have the squad. Saiz is not getting game time and we have lost money on him. Chances are the sulking lazy twat will be back with us next season. Apart from clarke and a few kids the cupboard is bare.

For all I’ve just said.. I do understand the concern and I would like the squad strengthening. ALAW.

Thing is milky, nobody enjoys a defeat, no matter how good the game was. Everyone will react differently. Some fans may be suffering longer than others, some may not be old enough to have seen any of our great teams so may be operating to a different standard. It’s perfectly normal for fans to pick holes in a performance, it happens in all sports. What’s a worry for some of us now is the alarming number of goals we’ve suddenly started conceding in recent weeks. We can’t continue to rely on scoring one more than the opposition every day given our threadbare strike force. Personally I still believe we need another striker in this window as Bamford is far too injury prone to be much use. We can almost smell promotion it’s so close

As you've jinx us Eire, I'm confident of making the play offs now:grin:

We got the goale i wanted but as you say a forward is needed plus that elusive pace out wide. Still feel we need to replace saiz because the rest of midfield are not fast or creative enough.

That’s true. -15 and we’ll need another ten points for safety.. on. A positive note we’d walk league 1 next season
Always good to look on the bright side and assume they aren't going to make us go back to non-league and start again or revoke our membership of the league entirely
