wow... that's ridiculous. he's simply not very good.

he's made England yeah but he is nowhere near top 6 quality and never will be.

He brings the ball out of defence well to be fair, his tackling and the way he talks is a bit like Carragher.

he always did have. he was a midfielder in our youths and we toyed with pitting him at cb.

he spent years working hard to get where he is.

opportunities abound when you get recognition

he was our captain all the way through youths as well all ages.

I'm not shocked he kept at it compared to wisdom who was the better natural talent.

    he deserves his success.

Hes a CM that’s not quite good enough at CM but does well in a back 3. Couldn’t play as 1 of a 2 though.

Red Bull Salzburg forward Moanes Dabour is drawing 'closer and closer' to joining Liverpool , according to a source quoted by the Daily Star .

They claim, via Transfer Market Web, that the Israeli striker is holding out for the move, and has rejected interest from Valencia in order to try and keep the possibility of the switch alive.

Was a very good keeper, last 3-4 years hasn’t been anywhere near top class unfortunately though and the way hints have gone with keepers being asked to play more football, he looks very old fashioned.

I don't think he was ever the same after his head injury.. but that was 2006 and thats a long long time to continue playing and winning after. He was some keeper back in the day...

He dropped off quite a bit, whether thats playing football as you say or reactions or just plain making more mistakes i don't know.

I dno, I think his last couple years at Chelsea he really dipped but he was still a very very good keeper after he injury. Yeah maybe not quite as good but still one of the best out there
