See your point mate but tbf, you're naive to think the players aren't wanting financial parity with others from rival clubs.
The real test will come for Spurs when a certified offer for Kane, Alli or Eriksen comes in and it's for mega-money that will help fund the stadium debt and also offer the player/players in question massive pay rises.
As of now nobody can prove you're wrong so it will take a public offer or a player downing tools for more money or a dream move to Spain etc.
