Hasn't played for Norwich this season, has played for us before and he's cheap. He ticks all the boxes He could probably do a job for us though. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/swansea-lining-up-january-move-for-championship-forward/
Huw missed out on signing this striker: https://clwbpeldroed.org/2018/12/31...YCBCaPt9-WVelD5g5r6w8rfqqgYOh9w2_-ZQNcduxuyQc
A very cagey interview, I don't think he's giving too much away. I like the quote "I don't think we were that good today. We can play better from my perspective so that's exciting." That's great considering we basically trounced Aston Villa 3-0 on their own patch. If we had a little more quality in the final third we would have put 5 or 6 on them.
Anyone expecting any incoming in January? because I'm certainly not, though we could well see Bony go out on loan............................
I’m assuming there’ll be a push to get the final batch of high earners off our books and that any incoming players won’t be marquee signings
I can see a couple of players coming in but i dont think the club would pay big bucks for anyone tbh and i agree with that philosophy looking how we have done since the mercenaries have left, Get rid of Bony now and i dont mind if they keep Dyer & Routs for the season....
I doubt we'll see any additions to the first team squad. If we do see new additions at all they'll be young, cheap and ready for the U21's. Owners only need one youngster to shine, Celina, to make their transfer strategy profitable. Hopefully they wont want to cash in on Celina just yet nor look to profit on James, Roberts, Rodon, Grimes. They all came through the academy, I think, so effectively cost nothing so selling them would be pure profit. I can't say I'm happy with simply hoping the owners have a long term view and want to keep the squad intact but I'd welcome in February with huge sigh of relief if those above along with Dyer, Routledge, and VDH are still Swansea players when the window slams shut. No need but we do need a striker to supplement Ollie ( I class Wilf as secondary to our cause ) but sorry Dai your prediction of a twenty goal striker coming to the Club isn't going to happen https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46826764
