Hi Folks

Leeds kick off their first home game of 2019 welcoming promotion hopefuls Derby County to Elland Road.

Following an immaculate pre Christmas record , the wheels have somewhat come off Bielsa's side with a hat trick of consecutive losses, albeit being knocked out of the FA Cup fielding a far weakened team.

Surely, we can't have gone from invincible to vulnerable over the space of less than two weeks. Individual errors and penalty decisions have cost us greatly in recent games, let's hope these errors can be put to one side.

Leeds will be boosted by the news that Captain Liam Cooper is fit to start following his run-out (60mins) for the under-23s on Monday night. With Phillips suspended, this news could not have come at a better time.

Derby will be without on loan starlet Harry Wilson. The on loan youngster has scored 9 times in 21 appearances for the Rams.

What a shame we couldn't bag Wilson pre season!!!

Good to see you back Elland <ok>

Baker has gone back to Chelsea and Pablo is a major doubt, Bamford and Douglas won't feature according to Bielsa so I'm guessing the team is virtually going to pick itself

Welcome back Matt. I see Pablos participation as crucial. As hes struggling, who would we replace him with, maybe Clarke up to a full game at this stage. Need players on the field that Derby will have to keep an eye on. Can we please please get through a few games without injuries, its more than frustrating at this stage. Its not just the injuries but sometimes when players return, they dont seem to be at their best like Ayling and need match time to get up to speed

Welcome back Ell

Derby have been scoring a few of late, we've been conceding as many. Really need to tighten things up for this, Pablo and Phillips will be a big miss.
We'll do well to get 3 points out of this with what we have to choose from.

Just popped across to JA, there's one poster who always posts the Bielsa press conferences in full. Bielsa has said that if Pablo isn't fit Tyler Roberts will start in the No. 10 position.

Hopefully hes up to the job so. Big boots to fill

To be honest, I'll be amazed if we win this one. Bielsa also accepted that Pablo and Tyler are two very different players and that Roberts has not got the same creativity. Guess there's no point in hiding that, everyone can see it, don't know if this means we change playing style slightly to adapt. My main concern is defence, we have leaked a ****load of goals in the last few games (this could be alleviated by stopping conceding free kicks just outside our penalty box of course). He's been great all season but I'm really pissed off with KP, such a stupid tackle to get suspended at the toughest time of the season.

Thanx ristac, Baker has gone back to Chelsea - wow... You miss things when you're in isolation.

Evening Eire pal, appreciated. Surely we will bring new blood in...

Ahhhh, thx Gessa...

Yes, if we are without Pablo, that really isn't good...

Good to see you back in harness Ell, hopefully it's behind you for good this time. <ok>

I'd be worried about the Derby attack with Phillips, Cooper and Douglas all available, and I agree with Eire that if Pablo's out we need Clarke as well as Tyler to keep them busy in the middle and looking over their shoulder, otherwise it might turn out to be a cavalry charge.

But then what do I know? <laugh>

IBWT.

Cheers pal. Got out of hospital earlier on today...
So you're back then, drama queen? Anyone else would just phone in sick, but oh no, you've got to have the blues & twos & a few days ogling nurses.

The Adryan of NOT606!! <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

Glad you're back, matey. I'd use the phrase 'breath of fresh air', but I guess breathing's a bit of a sore subject atm :)
