What teams do and what fans do are 2 diff things. Of of course the club should be looking to win it, but as fans all we get out of winning is entertainment. I’d rather be entertained for 38 games and win nothing that bored out my mind for 38 and win a cup
So now we have a game on Saturday, then a week before the next game, then a 10 day gap until the next game. I'm glad Klopp prioritised. I'm not glad we lost but was not surprised. Keep the first 11 fit and we have a chance. We're still a few windows away from being able to compete on all fronts like City can.
well imo it's win league or season is a complete just once again. 3 years running... pure ****. sure if we had 4 fit cbs maybe it doesn't happen we are down to 1 now but matip is back in training so that's prob ok. sturridge was shameful shaqiri for me was pathetic. Keita isnt half fit enough for this level. he needs to work a lot harder on his game. Milner was a joke. mingolet... dreadful like... all senior player and none even Moreno who pulled out of tackles. he wasn't even in the bottom 3. Curtis Jones did well enough til he faded. it was a struggle for a 17 year old to hold his own v senior pros. Camacho shouldn't have been there. just shouldn't. sorry but that was an awful show as rb. if you like him play him as a winger. ki... the pundits were kind and he tried his best like... showed he's got a few things to his game. but positionally he was very naive.
Spot on mate, and Diego is well old enough to remember it, I remember it also and laughed my plums off when it happened. I also went to the semi-final of the FA Cup at OT the season they were in Division 2, the programme from that game(,I've still got says)" Welcome to Old Trafford to Leicester and Liverpool, we hope you have a great day but unfortunately we have other business to deal with". Other business, like being in a lower division.
I was there on the day the King scored. I thought the have a great day we have other business was a nice humorous touch considering our position in relation to yours. Did you think we were arrogant around that time?
Seriously? Did you really expect a back 5 like that to win? Or a midfield like that? Or 3 strikers who couldn't press a grape, let alone lead from the front!? As soon as I saw the team, it was obvious. I predicted it and the only surprise was that we didn't conceded more! Wolves are a decent team and we were away. I'm not happy with how they played but I was also not surprised. Did the performances of Mignolet, Moreno, sturridge and origi (goal aside) surprise you? I support that we prioritised the league. I'm unhappy that we had to do it but needs must.
Tbh no, but, at the time man u were still getting the positive headlines despite being ****e, if you think the players from a club/team that was previously league champions,/European champions in recent seasons you're having a laugh. Docherty team was good on the eye but they thought signing/playing for Man U made them World Class.
ermmmmm what you've said is exactly why we've been short changed. 4 senior players badly let the entire club down and imo wouldn't get another second off me as a manager... but I'd be a bit harsh that way.
