I thought Rodriguez's red card was overturned.

DF's thoughts re losing on Saturday - “With the greatest respect I am pretty sure there will be more important games in the next four months,” he said. “We will be disappointed for a day or two but we are happy we rested some players, we are happy some others got game time and from Tuesday onwards only one topic in our heads, West Brom."

Moore said (about Gayle and Hegazi before cup game):
"Both players are back on the pitch and running, both players are at the stage where you’re tempted as a manager, but in this relentless league it’s a real calculated decision.
"It's wonderful to see them back out on the grass, but the game may be a bit too soon for them. The beautiful thing is, it’s good to see them back on the grass."
Sounds like a farmer letting his cattle out in the Spring after being indoors during the inter. <laugh>

Yes, I saw earlier in the week that both Gayle and Rodriguez would be fit and it will certainly be a tough game, especially with our injuries to key players.
I'll be happy with a share of the spoils.

Edit. Just seen this - West Brom are sweating on the future of loan star Harvey Barnes ahead of tomorrow’s Championship clash with promotion rivals Norwich City. Leicester were due to let the Baggies know whether they would be recalling the talented 21-year-old this week, with Sky Sports reporting that it’s likely Barnes will return to the Foxes.
That follows Leicester’s decision to allow Fousseni Diabate to join Turkish side Sivasspor on loan until the end of the season after the 23-year-old Mali international made just three appearances during the first half of the campaign.
It’s left Albion boss Darren Moore anxiously awaiting the decision of Foxes manager Claude Puel, with England Under-21 international Barnes having scored nine goals and set up another six this season – including a goal at Carrow Road as Norwich were beaten 4-3 back in August.

Pretty please Mr Puel. We sold you JM for a VERY fair price - time for a little 'payback???' :emoticon-0102-bigsm

From today’s presser - Emi Buendia has recovered from his ankle injury ahead of schedule and is in the Norwich City squad for the Championship trip to West Brom - with Jamal Lewis and Alex Tettey also fit for duty.

Was not expecting that! Great news! Lets hope we don't rush them back too soon, like he did with Leitner. He obviously wasn't recovered enough to play when we bought him back in.

My thoughts exactly, FML, especially with regard to Emi, who I want back as soon as possible, but only at 100% fitness. I think Jamal has been practicing for over a week now so he could be ready. Alex has been around long enough to know his own body and know whether he is ready.

    Match facts
    • West Brom and Norwich City have not played out a draw in any competition since October 2004, with both sides winning eight of the last 16 meetings.
    • Norwich have won on both of their last two trips to West Brom without conceding a single goal, with each encounter coming in the top flight back in December 2013 (2-0) and most recently in March 2016 (1-0).
    • West Brom are unbeaten in their last six Championship matches at home, though they have only emerged victorious in two of those games (D4).
    • Norwich City are unbeaten in their last 11 away league matches (W6 D5), only twice before in the club's history have the Canaries registered a longer such run on the road - 12 in February 1986 and 12 in August 2015.
    • West Brom (22 games) are currently on their longest consecutive run of scoring at home in the league since November 1993, when the Baggies scored in 25 straight matches at the Hawthorns.
    • Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki has scored six Championship goals in the 80th minute or later this season, at least two more than any other player in the division
