Today the Coach and Horses, tomorrow Wembley.

 

90% of the venues listed in those guides are off our patch.

Of the remaining 10%, they are either too small for our footprint or are simply not appropriate.

Also, The International Centre, Mr Kyps , and The Tivoli Theatre are pro venues.

Those guides are suite, anyway, as they do not list numerous Bournemouth venues that are well known gigging venues .

Finally, you won't find social club gigs listed in those guides, as they are not advertised to the general public.

 

That would be some achievement for a local semi pro band, Tobias.

Why?

No one in the band has any aspirations to do what we do full time.

Will probably be like Micheal Douglas in falling down. I can see the headlines now:

'Long suffering neighbour of Dorset Conservative club finally snapped when he gunned down the band playing at the venue'

When interviewed by police he said 'It was the 4th time in as many weeks that the same ****ing band were trotting out their off key version of Status Quo's 'rocking all over the world' and I just couldn't take it any more!'

 

Then you know nothing about it.

 

We don't play that song, so that could not have been us.

 

Okay so all of the major venues in your area are either off your patch, too small or not appropriate. And the guides are **** anyway and your gigs, despite being at major venues where the competition is fierce, aren't advertised to the general public
