£19m for Solanke is way too good a deal for us. Seems a crazy amount but Bournemouth must be desperate to do anything to avoid relegation
Lol i know they have been on a slump but they surely cant be worrying about relegation. They are 11 points clear off the relegation zone
£19 is good for both clubs it was clear he wasn't going to make it with us. Hope Clyne is a deal with a bit clause and that we also buy someone in at full back.
Ah was getting them confused with Burnley. Yeah they should be good this season despite their poor recent form. Solanke will be a decent prem player. His problem is he’s a target man type player of which they generwlly don’t peak until late 20s where they’ve learnt their game and how to use their body, like drogba did and players like deeney do now. He can’t conpete with experienced CBs at the moment which is why it’s been hard to step up from youth football for him where he is equally matched
Guess this means we will see some incomings Lloyd Kelly from Bristol Big name signing and a right back
Some players Michael Edwards has sold as #LFC's Sporting Director: Solanke ➡️ Bournemouth - £19M Ibe ➡️ Bournemouth - £15M Stewart ➡️ Hull - £8M Coutinho ➡️ Barcelona - £142M Ings ➡️ Southampton- £20M Ward ➡️ Leicester - £12.5M Sakho ➡️ Crystal Palace - £26M https://t.co/zUwDI14C0z @moreinjuredthanowen @Jimmy Squarefoot fight!!!
personally don't believe Smith really cost £6m much more likely that involved a **** load of add ons which will not have been met.
We’ve become so much better when it comes to selling fringe players. Hopefully the extra funds pave the way for a new signing ...
