Is this the start of the Kopites bottling it again?

Or is it merely a blip, against a fanstastic City side?

I think the fact that they’ve now lost their unbeaten league record will see a bit of their belief disappear tbh.

They may still win it like, but I expect it to be very close run now.

I don't think it was, said as much beforehand. Seventeen games left yet...
Nah, a 10 point lead and unbeaten after 21 and having played your only real rival twice, would have seen you as good as there mate. You know that as well fella. As I said, you’re still favourites and a 4 point lead post Christmas is a great position. I thought you’d run out of steam in December and was wrong.

They're still in a very good position but tonight was a huge opportunity missed and now all the momentum has swung. Liverpool have had bad periods in previous January's too so will be interesting to see if they bounce straight back.

I still think City will win it personally, got too much depth whereas one or two injuries could **** Liverpool right up.

Gonna be close though.

I still wouldn't have been confident. We've not hadn't had a blip, Man City had...

Excellent game .... two very exciting teams ... from a neutral perspective it makes for an exciting rest of the season ... no consolation to 'Pool fans / posters, of course <cheers>

Said it at the start of the season and I've not changed my mind at any point

True I suppose, but there was always the chance the blip wouldn’t happen.

Also, City have had their blip. They could have another I suppose, but beating Liverpool ended this one and will give them huge momentum to push on.
