You'll be getting ready to welcome the New Year in Jammy, just a couple of hours to go. I trust you are enjoying the Skiing, if I were to guess I would say you are at Courmayeur. If you are then it looks like you have cold conditions, could be a bit icy in the mornings with a good covering of snow.
This isn't aimed at anybody it's just that there seems to be a growing concern that opinions are being marshalled into conforming ranks. For me differing opinions are good and generate discussion and debate, it would be mighty peculiar if we all thought the same. For instance while I'm generally a glass half full person I can appreciate some of the negative views that are held. They sometimes make me stop and reassess what I have been assuming and that's healthy, no-one is right all the time and being able to accept that you may need to look at things differently is a grown up thing to do. The thing that irritates me though is when discussions become arguments and a bit futile. Promoting an opinion to the point that logic and reason fail and personal insults begin.
So onwards to the New Year and lets have some fun and hearty debate

Begining to think that most of us would have done a better job last season than Heckingbottom. But none of us would think that bringing Bielsa in would have done what hes managed to do with the same bunch of players. Today will show if we go another step better than previous recent seasons where we implode. I hope for a win today but think it will be a draw, but we should see a different mentality, a team fighting together who may go down because of an individual mistake.
