No referee will send a player off for that. Especially in a game of this magnitude.

Refereeing isn't just about sticking to the rule book. You use your common sense. You show a second yellow for that then you lose the players completely. Your game management goes to **** if you send Xhaka off there.

Seriously Tom?

So it is one set of rules for the bigger teams and another set for the rest?

When we played them in the opening game of our Championship season there were some old Leeds fans leaning across to intimidate kids leaving from the Northam. One of those un-reconstructed clubs when it comes to moronic fan behaviour.

Leeds fans are the only ones that have got a banning order because of me. Three of them about 13 years ago racially abused me on the way to a Saints game when I was with my daughter, I walked away, went to the nearest copper and all 3 got arrested. Had to go to court a month or so later and all 3 got 3 years banning order and had to pay me I think £150 victim costs. All unemployed, so wanted to pay me £4/week lol. I gave it all to charity to support underprivileged children in the 3rd world.

Edit: Just so you don't think I was being over touchy, 3 huge, drunk guys shouting abuse at me and my then 15 year old daughter about where I should live and how I should go 'back home' isn't a nice experience. Still, I only had to go back to Bournemouth and they missed their train and didn't get to leave for Leeds until the next morning after a night on the taxpayer :)
