Recently Burley hasn't been too well and I agreed after a request from a friend that I would make all of his predictions 2-1 home wins in the event that he couldn't post his scores. This week, he only went and won with 13 points, AND went top of the league at the same time. Get well mate, hope this put a smile on your face. I saw this this morning and it confused the hell out of me as I knew I hadn't put my predictions in this week. I really appreciate the thoughts and best intentions behind it but I cannot accept it. My current predicament should have no bearing on this. There are others going through similar problems and have kept it to themselves. Its no way to win the weekly competition and definitely no way to go top of the prediction league. So please remove my score and the 2-1 thing.
Give over soft lad. You're just bloody lucky the 2-1 scores came in. I've tried it before and failed. Your scores can stand and I expect you will have a ****e week with your own predictions. Keep getting better fella!
Drum, you've got similar issues and there will be others I've no doubt. I know of at least 2 others who if were doing this they'd have a similar cause to accept the points; then suddenly you've got a 5 or 6 covered each week. I really appreciate the sentiment by whoever made the request on my behalf but I will not accept the points. @flandersmackem please adjust the League Table.
Burley, I can't work out from this if you knew my way of thinking of not? If I was under the weather I wouldn't expect Flanders to step in but as we all predict each week constantly I would be grateful if he put in the 2-1 scoreline for each match. No one wants you to miss predictions for something out of your control. Now if there was money involved ..........
