Him and Nevin looked like two daft wee lassies, completely out of their depth in terms of intelligence and even simple things like facts. Just goes to show, you can look clever in front of the likes of Chick Young and Richard Gordon by wearing glasses and slavering out some big words but these two cretins are just not as bright as they pass themselves off to be.

Spiers even stuttered that he wanted people locked up for thinking in a sectarian way <yikes> <laugh>

Dr Waiton tore the proposed bill to bits, although sadly it'll probably still go through so that fat Salmond can save face.

Criminalising football fans will be what finishes the game in Scotland off for good, and this is exactly what this bill is. Why cant I hate celtc fans without the risk of being locked up? All while junkies and neds are stab happy on the streets of Glasgow.

I'll be angry, rude and emotional during a match (playing or watching) but at full time I'll happily discuss the match with an opponent or rival fan. What happens on the pitch stays on the pitch and it should be the same in the stands. Well at least it used to be that way.

Things were far better in the 80s, 90s and early 00's when we just fucking hated each other without anyone getting offended.

They took their radio phone in patter to a stage in which they were way out of their depth and got shown up for the couple of **** stirring wee fannies that they are.

Its about time this poisonous "sectarian industry" is put to bed and people get round to taking on the real issues facing football and Scottish society such as cringeworthy bad nutrition, stabbings galore, social bankrupcy and a brutal level of sports development.

They are all rife in Scotland but these two wee fuds, sorry experts <doh> , want to talk about how singing songs is damaging society.

Fair enough some songs are distasteful, but they dont do any harm. I believe that you solve the main issues above then the distasteful songs are eliminated through self policing. It wont sell much papers, but at least we'll still have a national sport.
 
Plenty more things this shower of ****s in power should be spending time fixing.

Like health, alcohol abuse, the increase in violent crime (not all of it is sectarian, imagine that), tidal/wave energy vs nuclear, unemployment, the ****ing weather, what I'm having for my dinner tonight.....

all of this has a more serious impact on Scotland, it's people and it's economy than sectarianism.
 
Sectarianism is now an Industry, another wealth sucking Industry/quango set up to give grown men and women an excuse to whine about something rather than accept that they are old and ugly.

Phil MaGobblegiver often bleats about how Scotland is a partizan Anti-Irish hell-hole, where? And if it was, why do they still continue to seek work here, surely if it was the case, my Irish neighbour wouldn't be able to afford his £300k house!

I know that there will be Anti Irish people in Scotland, but I bet that they are outnumbered by Anti Blacks/Pakistanis or even Anti Englanders.

Agreed, at least if we're honest about hating each other we know where the line is drawn. I hate all this sneaking about, emailing UEFA, crying to MP's. Its been going on since the Billy Boys stitch up in 2006 with Spiers being the ring leader and folk need to get real and stop being so pathetic.

If Salmond's law passes does that mean I could stroll into the Brazen Heed (god knows why I'd want to mind you!) to watch an Old Firm match and cheer a Rangers goal without getting my face utterly destroyed?

Does it fuck. I'd be glassed to within an inch of my life and I'd only have myself to blame.

We do hate each other but there is an element of respect, especially with boundaries. The above would never happen, just like passion and banter in the stands very rarely spills into violence. Drunkeness and general ned behaviour is the problem in the aftermath of big games in Scotland.

Spiers is an out of touch middle class wee turd, who is crusading this for his own personal gain. Nevin is a wee clown who thinks he's helping out by preaching for everything to be banned. Get them both to fuck.

Pish Frank and do you know why? I don't "hate" anyone let alone a group of people who I don't know (and some who I do) because they support a different ****ing football team.

When will people realise that football rivalry should be a "rivalry" and not some psuedo religious bullshite hate fest.

OK, the anti-sectarian initiative is totally OTT. But how hard is to not be bigoted and why should anyone else have to put up with it because you happen to be watching a football game? Thirty years ago we would've been having the same debate about racism, monkey chanting etc etc. Does anybody think that should've been allowed to keep on going?

I don't think I've ever, ever chanted anything sectarian at a football match or elsewhere. I don't even use the 'H' word (which I personally take to mean 'Rangers fan' without any religious connotation whatsoever) in case some terribly sensitive individual accuses me of upsetting Protestants. It's actually not that difficult either.
