Mmm....We really didn't play that well at all.
Ipswich had tons of possession with no real cutting edge. However, they did look dangerous from set pieces with our centre backs winning few headers all day.
Still a wins a win and this time of year is tough.
Lovely goal from Wells who impresses me more and more.

A very easy win against an Ipswich side that posed hardly any threat at all, despite having long periods of possession. McClaren really has got the side well organised and there were several good individual performances. Wells continues to play the lone striker role effectively, and may just deserve MOM for setting up the first goal for Wszolek and scoring an excellent third. He really should have scored early on though, miskicking after being brilliantly set up by Freeman. Eze contributed little and was deservedly subbed, I thought.
Wszolek mom for me never stopped trying, running, helping up front as well as good defending work and a goal

Good to hear different recommendations for MoM, shows we are seeing a range of players able to make an impact on a game. Both Wszolek and Wells are improving well upon week. Wasn’t so long ago we were hearing that Pav was on his way out - yet another turnaround.

Great result, not such a great game, very low intensity. Ipswich didn’t do much with loads of possession, we rarely moved up through the gears, except for a five minute spell in the second half during which the third goal came. Professional performance, which after the last few years is real progress. Wells is a very good player at this level. Nobody did anything hugely wrong and they all seem to like each other. Nice. And great to see Roller, Terry, Col and Mrs Col. Thanks for the parking advice Col, worked a treat.

Anyone else watching the sky handicam coverage notice the argument in the paddock? What was that about?

Yeah, given I live in Somerset, I decided not to use my season ticket today and I noticed that skirmish on Sky. Looked like two blokes trying to land punches, with someone trying to keep them apart. Given the location, I assumed it was two QPR fans who had too much to drink at the Queen Adelaide and at half time. Not something one sees at HQ very often, fortunately.

It was right in front of me......a pissed up old fella and a younger lad had a bit of a set to that escalated into a few punches being thrown and the old fella getting a bloody nose.
Dealt with in the usual inept way by the stewards.

Sorry I couldn’t make the pub lads, my boys were running late as usual.

Difficult to draw conclusions in a game against such a poor Ipswich side but it was still great to see such a confident and competent performance. Just about everyone other than Eze had a decent game including the three young lads on as subs toward the end. Yet another influential performance by Wszolek and Freeman was industrious and entertaining but I think Wells must get MOTM for non-stop running, a good assist and a fine finish for his goal.

Not really.....at 3/4 we were terrific value considering our past performances, Our respective table positions and us being at home.
I had us in a 4 fold with Liverpool/Man U and.....Man City.

Lucky enough I cashed out just before Leicester scored for a profit.
