Exactly halfway point in the season and we sit 2nd. Moneybags City drop to third, but poor didums have injuries in key areas so it’s not their fault they lost to Leicester.
Fantastic!!! We go 2nd...well deserved and as usual underrated by the rest...now they paying attention..pricks 5-0 does not flatter us...total control COYS!!
Slightly bizarre 5-0 win. Could easily have been 5-4 and by no means a great performance - but says a lot about how far we've come in other ways.
True to their unbiased reporting, we're 3rd on the BBC website 1Liverpool193451 2Man City193745 3Tottenham192245
I am confused, were we not only 2 pts behind then at the start of proceedings today? Do they get one point as Lesta don't count anymore? Or are Bournemouth only worth two points? And why has our gd gone from 19 to 22 after winning 5-0?
I hope you appreciate I had to create all five of these, thank you very much Not606 not recognising Streamja... 1-0 Eriksen 2-0 Son 3-0 Lucas 4-0 Kane 5-0 Son
Job done. Bournemouth did not deserve that scoreline. Would be nice to be able to rotate Toby next month, but rotating Ser Davos with Foyth is not a bad option to have.
Was it just me or did Bournemouth not actually play that badly? Evertonians seemed to think that we were clinical against them the other day, but this was far more of a clinical display, for me. Did Boruc make a save before that Kane free-kick in the second half? Another MOTM performance from Walker-Peters, which makes him 3 for 3 in the Premier League, IIRC. Longest Premier League start without a draw, which isn't a record that many probably want, but it's working for us. Played largely in 2nd gear and strolled to a comfortable win. Is this Spurs?
We took our chances (again). They didn’t. I don’t think the result would have been any different, but the score could have been much closer.
Great result, sounds like we played very well. Someone needs to hide Son's passport so he can't leave the country though.
Pity the poor buggers who think everything to do with football is beholden to xG, as we've been giving them a nervous breakdown the last couple of games
