Were you studying @ Leeds ? I purposely picked Leeds having been aware of how many amazing acts the LU Student Union managed to lure to their Sat night Union dances. I first started going to the gigs there in '64 and lived & studied there '65-'72.
Beefheart played at the Student Union 3 times to my knowledge: May 2nd '73, June 1st '74 and Nov 30th '75.
Missed all of them 'cos I'd come over here late '72.

no not studying there.went as guests oh hull uni,one of the best gigs ive ever been to.
