To each and eveyone of you. Im not particularly looking forward to it to be honest. Its my first Xmas day i wont see my boys so its fecked with my head abit to be honest. I just want to get to Boxing day so I can recreate it all again with them, and then hopefully i can try and enjoy the rest of Xmas the best I can. Anyway enough of the doom and gloom, enjoy lads .
Have the best Xmas you can possibly have Tees, and just spoil your kids on Boxing Day. Am sure you’ll have a ball. Bart
Same to you Tees and to everyone else on the board. I know its the season of goodwill etc but Christmas brings pressures that we don't have for the rest of the year
Merry Christmas Tees. I'm also not seeing my little fella until 27th. I'm trying to focus on making that special and not how disappointing not seeing him on Xmas day is. All the best to everyone else too.
Its hard isnt it mate, very hard. Ill have my turn next year but trying to explain to my lads why i wont be there to see them run downstairs Xmas morn and set their presents up for them is mentally hard for me to get my head round, infact its pretty much fecking with my head in a big way right now
So I’m in the lucky camp - wife 2 kids -all healthy and happy (ish) I am knackered with work but finished today - family around on the 25th - good food good beer - good luck to all - love to most (!) - off on a holiday on 27th... I need it... hopefully all on here have a Christmas which is the one they want and with those they love 6 points will help!! KTF & FTM
I've been in that boat too mate. Not seeing my daughter until the 30th this year. It is hard but you'll have a great time with them when you do see them. I always try to concentrate on having quality time when I do see her and try to forget about the date. I hope you and your lads have a good time together.
I want to wish all on here a very merry xmas, and a happy new year, with a special mention to all who have written some very funny, posts that have made me howl, we should have a column for the best witty cracks put on a sticky as there are some corkers each week.
Hi mate. Like many others on here I've been there as well. I had shared custody of my 2 boys. We used to have alternate years. One year I'd have them for Christmas and the next year she'd have them. It was awesome having them for Christmas when I did but when I didn't I'd do something, go somewhere, usually abroad, and I'd skype the lads on the day. And when I got to see them they'd have another Christmas blow out with me. As Master Simpson said, spoil your lads on Boxing Day and make it a day they'll remember for a long time! Merry Christmas mate!
Thanks mate. The fact i played the mother role for their first 4 years has made it that much harder for me n If i had half your mental strengh id be happy mate. Your a true man and a warrior x
Have a very merry xmas, to all the mackem's and safc supporter's young and old, wherever we all live around our world.
