Yeah you carry consoling yourselves with all the titles you have bought...personally if I was a Chelsea fan I'd be more concerned about finishing top 4 this year.

Good Football and trophies are not mutually exclusive.

    We can have both.

The obvious difference is we've got plenty in the bank, all recent as well.

Not everyone can win a trophy every season...so there are some clubs who try but pride themselves on playing very attractive football and the fans are happy with that. For all the recent trophies you're all a disgruntled bunch so I'm not sure it counts for much apart from when it comes to winning an argument.

No, what I don't understand is having your cake and eating it.

So a United fan can say trophies don't matter it's the football but a Spurs fan can't based on the fact that they havent won trophies.

You really are up each other's ****ing stinky ring pieces when it comes to football <laugh>

Who the **** do you ****s think you are...****ing overlords of the PL?

    <laugh>

Go and get ****ed I'm off to have lunch...you set of glory hunting **** faces

    To **** and back!

What I'm actually saying Spurly is that it's far easier as a United fan to take a step back and hope for some decent football as we've won plenty of trophies, many of them recently. The last few we won though were a bit ****e as the Europa, League and FA cups won by Mourinho and van Gaal were churned out, rather than won in style.

Whether as a Spurs fan watching easy on the eye football without having won much is acceptable is not for me to say. I'm just saying it from my point of view. I used to enjoy watching Atkinson's United a whole lot more than I did the ****e we've witnessed in the last few years and we didn't win a great deal.

I'm not a glory hunter by the way, I support my local team. You ****ing don't.

Spurs starting again with Eddie Howe will have a transition period I think he'll get them back to challenging Arsenal again within a few years though.

Is Spurs’ football even that good?

I mean it’s good by their own standards but it’s hardly on par with City/Liverpool or Fergie’s complete domination of English football, is it?

Happiness is in the eye of the beholder, I wouldn’t be arsed if we started playing like Spurs tbh. Living in fear about when the lads are gonna **** up.

Luckily our club is steeped in winning history and that will drag Poch to a whole’nuther level.

They’d need a period of sustained stability first before they started thinking about honours. The crippling debt will certainly have a bearing on their next 10-15 seasons, and there’s only so long players like Eriksen and Kane will be kept happy by the cheese room.

It's a shame you couldn't do that with Moyes, LVG or Jose...Fergie must have taken the tradition and history with him

  19. My back garden was within shouting distance of the ground. My school was situated in Selby Road, off White Hart Lane.

Cut me in half and it has THFC TIL I DIE! running through me.

Therefore, what I say regarding Spurs goes, yeah?

Because you have to be live local, right?

Incidentally, if that rule did actually apply, of all the millions of United fans out there, only you and a small handful of others would be able to pass comment.

  20. Bruv, it makes me laugh that these Chelsea and United fans are taking cheap shots at us, when they should be concentrating on finishing top 6.
