Winning the milk cup could be a curse for Spurs, because with a pot in his locker it will make poch feel as though he’s taken them as far as anybody could, and he can leave knowing he’s delivered a minor trophy for them.
Losing that game last night was like being hit gently with a fluffy cushion bruv. I think you and I both know that.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is the only name on Manchester United's list to replace Jose Mourinho. United are prepared to pay £42m in compensation to get the Argentine. (Telegraph)
Yep, Utd will have to sound out a few options. Sounds very much like Poch is at the top of their list though.
Aye it says that they are prepared to pay it if Poch makes it clear he wants to go, and I think he is holding out for the Real Madrid job to be honest. They are a far more attractive prospect than United at the moment.
The Real job will come up again and again and Poch might feel that he can wait for that one. The Utd job though might not come around for him again. I don't think he'll be fazed by the state the club are in at the moment either as he knows he'll be given a big war chest to build his own team.
True, but theres far more work to do to get United back to the top of the league, and they have far more competition domestically than Madrid have. Madrid only have to compete with Barca really, where as, at United, he will have to overcome Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal and City....all of whom are currently streets ahead of United in terms of quality. Saying that, maybe he will relish the challenge!
This I think he'd prefer it to the two horse race in La Liga (although he'd still be in danger of finishing 3rd)
The United job has been up for grabs 3 times in the last 4 years. The empire is crumbling...let it crumble. You really are **** scared of Poch aren't you
And once again there’s no guarantee that they wouldn’t be making a very expensive one with Poch. After all, as you lot are so fond of reminding us, he hasn’t won anything.
Heard it when Pool became mediocre...heard it when Arsenal became mediocre...now it's United's turn to be a mediocre club and chop n change constantly. i'm not a Sky 4 bum chum...I have no interest in fighting their corner
