Chazz you're really chewed up about this aren't you. Can you really say that the other candidates for this award epitomised what sporting achievement is all about more than the netball team? Tiger Woods wins another golf tournament, Alistair Cook scores another century, England finally win a penalty shootout, Tyson Fury doesn't beat Deontay Wilder. All very laudable but nothing compared to the absolute joy amongst those netball women when they beat Australia. It doesn't matter that hardly anybody saw it compared to the shootout, and how many people watched the cricket or the golf? How many would have watched Tyson Fury on pay-per-view?Yes it caught the imagination didn't it.

It reminds me of what sporting achievement used to be about before it became the multi-squillion dollar activity it is now.
