These countries are more capitalist than socialist. Cuba, now that was truly socialist. When did you last hear of a Cuban or indeed anyone, trying to escape the US to get to Cuba?
You honestly believe all the **** you post don’t you, you are nothing but a simple minded person easily fooled by the 4th Reich and it’s propoganda machine, and all you can do is call rational minded free thinkers “blue sheep” you insult others intelligence by pretending to know everything, but in reality you are nothing but a little jumped up cyber bully trotting out the same propoganda using different words to convey the same message trying to convince people that until we agree with you we are nothing but fools. Do you in your mind believe you are actually the great OZ from somewhere over the rainbow.
Debateable as to what constitutes socialist but most people would refer to them as socialist countries (high taxation, high benefits). You point to cuba, i point to greece as a bad democratic ****up or to mexico. Its more about the people and how advanced technologically as well as working together nations are alongside their natural resources than it is systems. All systems have their faults.
The countries were big capitalist successes before they could afford to extend their welfare state. There is not huge state ownership. Employers have no great restrictions and I think I'm right in saying there's no minimum wage
If Corbyn and McDonnell were to gain power and implement the last Labour manifesto, where would you place that on the scale of leftism?
Nah, agree with Stainsey. It's a load of waffle, trying to big up an undemocratic, corrupt organisation, without really saying very much.
Can't everyone see that Corbyn has done nothing positive to get into powwer has he has not the first clue how to deal with Brexit. Nobody could have done more than the old hag has done. We should stay in and try to change things for our benefit if it needs changing.
If I may say so Col, that's bollocks. I asked Goldie where he would put the last Labour manifesto on a scale of leftism and he hasn't responded as yet, but to call it far left is nonsense, Marxism is even more ridiculous. All it would be doing is re-balancing our economy from the excesses of rampant Toryism towards the kind of mixed economy we had in the 60s and 70s. A bigger state with higher taxes and more protection for the needy.
Not sure we would ever know what a leftie socialist is I stand Corbyn would do OK Labour as a party however is still a bit sky blue to me
When he stops insulting us leavers and people who don’t follow his Euro mantra, by calling us sheep, muppets Tory ****ers, blue ****s etc, calling for us to be culled, and to die off so Brexit can be halted then I’ll stop, but as long as he continues with his subtle innuendos and sly digs thinking he’s clever I’ll continue.
