To precis my comments from the other thread: Good idea, odd timing.

The game is 24 hours after the end of the regular Championship season, with play-offs and the end of the Prem season still to come. That rules out basically any current and ex-NCFC players playing at a high level. If they're focusing on the 11-12 season, that means Ruddy, Pilks, Surman, RyBen, Howson, Johnson, as well as the likes of Brady (double RoI/NCFC link) will be unavailable.

Michael Bailey interviewed Wes and Russ, who have said it's only going to be ex-NCFC players, either from the last ten years or "legends". Apparently they've got 40 people interested already, very curious to see who makes that list!

Apparently Lambert was sounded out about it, and seemed keen - but that was before he took on the Ipswich role.

Good call by the club to give the fans a chance to thank two stalwarts
for their lengthy service to the yellow cause. And vice versa, of course.
I went to Gunn's, Goss's and Tim Shephard's testimonials and they were all a hoot!
 
I'm trying to get my mate to swing corporate tickets, so we can listen to them both give a little talk in the Legends Lounge.
 
Finally got round to booking my tickets for this Promotion party! Can't wait!

Hopefully will be able to drag the fiancé down early to get involved in the promotion carnival!!

Good selection of players!

I think I slightly fancy Russ's team. Better strikers, and maybe slightly better defenders?
