the irony is that flat earthers know more about the globe model than the vast majority of its proponents, many of whom are no more intellectually substantial than a trained ostrich

this is typical of your average glober, doesnt even know the facts about the model he blindly subscribes to, if he did, he would know that commercial airliners do not fly anywhere near high enough to see the alleged curvature, those who believe they have seen it are simply showing how easily influenced their minds are

we are surrounded by ice 360 degrees, holding the ocean in, beyond that who knows
 
there is no summer in the south to melt the ice, the temperatures are extremely cold all year round, unlike the north, which makes no sense in the globe model

Antartica is a landmass, the North is not and is therefore warmed by the sea.

an old wives tale, very little of Eratosthenes literature survived the fire of the library of Alexandria and there is absolutely no record of this experiment, its a cool story but unfortunately most people dont actually think about it, the just accept it, as is standard in this day and age

the results of the two sticks experiment do not prove a globe in any case, the same results are expected on a flat surface with a localized sun
