Not sure if the documents/file relate to Vodaphone or anyone else as Vodaphone is the only Company name I can see. You're not suggesting that there was some sort of conspiracy yesterday about the 'phone companies, are you?

So, a change to the articles and memorandum. It could either be due to a change in law, a change of ownership or change to shareholders...

Let's pretend I don't know what any of this is supposed to imply...

Anything or nothing. It indicates that a change is being made to the constitution of the company. This could be done for any number of administrative reasons. It would not normally be done as part of a sale. It is just possible that a particularly complicated sale agreement could require changing the type of shares that exist and that these changes are being made so that the sale could go through. As proof that the club is being sold, it is as reliable as a tweet from somebody who knows somebody who knows something.
