You look at our form and defensive record and you wonder what changed from last year, regardless of whether or not we are playing well. Well look at Alisson screaming at our players in the 93rd minute to stop scrapping and get up the pitch and that sort of mentality is the difference between this year and last. Admittedly the football we are playing is at the point where it is a worry, but big Al at the back has made a huge difference for us.

That save, yeah the header was at him but he got across his goal well and made himself big. And to not give away a penalty v Walcott, how many times do you see a keeper dive in and bring th forward down. Judged it brilliantly and got enough on the ball to put Walcott off. Brilliant display from him today to keep us at 0-0 and in with a chance

Definitely!

But, also credit to Walcott for not going down and forcing the referee to make a decision too.

Big shout to Allison for running in and forcing taa up for the cross
All was brill
I won’t lie - this is a great feeling
Gonna enjoy it cause the pessimist in me is screaming this will get balanced a) on wed night and b) in reverse fixture lmao

[HASHTAG]#bentasfuckref[/HASHTAG] makes only one mistake.

FK 5 yards from foul. Ah well.

It’s about good football, not winning cups.

Just got back, Danny Mills still frothing at the mouth over Klopp's celebration, Silva wasn't bothered

[HASHTAG]#bentasfuck[/HASHTAG] ref gave you everything

No penalty for Mané, no red for Pickford pulling Origi's shirt as he nodded in the winner

PGMOL are Mancs but god is a red

How did dem blue lights on the Liverbirds work out for you?

Errors leading to goal:
Alisson 1
Jordan "I won't make mistakes like Alisson" Pickford 2

Yep, loved that from him. It also good seeing VVD square up to Richarlison as well :)

Alisson also came up to take the free kick and pass to Trent. Helped Trent to take the ball further up and deliver.

Really good cameo from Origi as well. And fitting he scored the winner in this fixture given the injury he sustained last year

Could he have resurrected his LFC career? ...

doubt it but interesting that Klopp has started to give him some minutes . Always said if he gets it together he is the perfect reserve for our front 3 but the "if" is ****ing huge.

Yeah thought he did well. Spun in behind nicely and just the final ball from a cross let him down. As a law sub to use his pace he def has a place at the moment, far too little to judge if will have a big impact but nice to have as an option

It is wonderful to be the beneficiaries of calamatous keeping for a change. Unlucky to Everton as they deserved at least a point.

I made the cardinal sin of listening to 606 on the way home but listening to sad-sack Danny Mills rant about Klopps' reaction, how it warrants a ban and "butwhataboutMourinho" made it all the sweeter.
