Nothing, let them do what they have always done, have the best of both worlds, but simply to stop trying to tell me that their opinion is the best one, and the EU is the answer to our problems, it isn’t.

Here's a quote from a German Green MP, Sven-Christian Kindler:

“Contrary to all the myths spread by people on the right, Germany has profited massively from the crisis in Greece.

“It can’t be the case that the government makes billions in profits on Greek debt which it puts into the German budget.

“The Greeks have kept their side of the bargain by making painful cuts to the budget but now it is the Euro group's time to keep its promises."

If the Euro is to survive, Germany has to stop giving unlimited finance to poor EU countries and encouraging those countries to buy expensive German goods, and then pushing the debtor against the wall and threatening a kneecapping unless it pays extortionate interest rates.

German business greed may eventually bring down the Euro, perhaps the EU itself, and no doubt the Brits will get all the blame for leaving early...

I don't believe much that any politician says, whether they be English, Irish, French ,German etc etc. Isn't it strange how we as the public can pick bits of what people say and choose to believe them yet shoot others down straight away. We are in a mess due to politicians. They lie and lie over and over yet some believe what they want to.

It's not a case of shooting anyone down its called a difference of opinions.
Bob I agree with you and we have done the ’don't trust politician’ but there many other issues to look at. Why let them get away with it?

Why are you unable to refrain from trying to insult everyone who doesn't agree with you?

My point was, that you take what a German green MP says as gospel because it suits what you believe. Nothing wrong with you doing that, it's your choice but when someone says something you don't like then it's a load of ****e. I reckon we have covered/done everything on this thread. Let the lieing elected politicians crack on now. What will be will be

    Here’s a little advance warning.

If, when the vote is lost in the Commons, the government doesn’t instantly state what it is going to do next, without recourse to cabinet meetings etc, we will know that we are even more epically ****ed than it seems we are now, as, once again no scenario thinking done in advance.

Even though losing the vote is inevitable, I reckon it’s 50/50 that there is no agreed cabinet position on how to respond to this.

It will probably depend on how badly she loses it. She should really resign, but I reckon she'll go for another General Election before the party get a chance to sack her.

Imo it's this project fear culture. They don't plan for losing the vote because they bank on their scaremongering working.
Thing is, it rarely does, but these cretins are so far removed that they just don't get it.

She won't because the Tories would get hammered. Talk today is that some may accept her deal so they keep their seats. If this happens then they will be slaughtered at the next election.

If you think that you are a Euro freak that's your problem. If you think that was directed at you then that is also your problem.
People who voted Brexit have been called a lot worse. Maybe if people had respected their opinion without all of the nasty Stuff then all the name calling would not have existed.
I am confident if you look back over this thread you will see that at the very start I was okay with all... But then came the ’uneducated thick bigot” slurs that I didn't like and reacted to.

If I'd chosen an AfD EU-hating headbanger to quote, you'd have dismissed it as the narrow minded right wing. So I quote a sandle wearer and you don't like that either!

Macron threatening a state of emergency in France. With Merkel on the way out, let's hope Manny Macca runs the EU better than his own country

Did you here the news today Goldie. They hate him in France and said he won't get a second term...so much for his Euro dream? Agree with him and heir Merkel gone the EU may need to change direction.
Many states have been saying they are unhappy with the direction and most seem to have issues.
I wonder if the whole thing collapsed how would our EU fans react?

With sadness. It’s a far from perfect but overall praiseworthy project, whether or not the UK is in it.

If the centralising/federalising direction is changed that doesn’t necessarily mean it will collapse.

Well Sb if they hadn't laughed Cameron off and treated us with disdain then they may have got mine and other vortes to remain. However they are a bunch of unelected box ticking bureaucrats who will never adapt or change. That is why the are destined to fail.
People shouldn't be blaming the likes of me but the muppets that run the EU.
