If Pardew had any balls then he would quit! The board have given him assurances since he's been here, most notably keeping hold of AC and then doing the opposite and selling him. It's been one thing after another and Pardew has towed the party line every time making himself look like a liar or a naive puppet!

Either way, the board have made him look like a spinless prick by sticking up for their anti-footballing actions. now we're told that the 15 strikers we were chasing were never going to sign as we were offering their clubs way way under their actual valuation and then offering ****e terms to the players when there has been a bid accepted!

Pardew should quit and it's the only way I'll have any respect for him! The running of this club is a sick joke :(

You'd only respect him if he quit? that's a strange statement ...

How? If he quits then he's showing he has balls and will stick up for himself. If he continues then he's showing us that he is Ashley's yes man with no authority at this club and will continue to feed us bullshit and take us for fools! How can you respect someone like that? Keegan walked for the same sort of reasons and has my respect for it.

I do not believe any of this crap. If anything this is a lame PR exercise to make AP look better in the eyes of the fans. I believe he fully knew and knows what goes on. He was given the job by a mate when nobody else would employ him.

so if you were dying and an ambulance turned up without adequate supplies, you'd only respect the medics if they left you to die instead of helping you out with what little they had?

On the contrary .. if he quits he shows he has no balls, has no fight and has no respect for the club .. not sure if you're privvy to his relationship with the board, but how have you come to the conclusion that he has no authority and that he feeds us bull**** .. aside from making it up yourself due to all the normal media hysteria

Having plans, communicating those plans (ie getting a striker) and then those plans going wrong for any numerous reasons just sound like the normal goings on in any business .. no reason to jump ship .. but that's just my simple viewpoint ..

When rumours start, Skybet drop or raise their odds. It's just a precaution.

If Ashley is planning on sacking him his odds will drop dramatically (further than they already have) because he'll stick a few million on it himself - he did it when Hughton was sacked.
Excellent analogy!
****e anology! Comparing the situation at the club and what I have said with an actual life??? Completely irrelevant!

Made it up myself? So when Pardew first came and I saw him state on the TV that he made it clear to the board that AC staying was one of has main conditions on becoming manager and the subsiquent sale of AC was actually a figmant of my imagination?

Pardew on TV again saying he wanted Enrique to stay and we had offered him an improved contract, only for Enrique to twitter that the club had not offered him an improved contract and that they were lying was also a figment of my imagination?

Then theres the quote also on TV from Pardew saying we WILL bring in a striker and judge me after the window closes is again just my imagination????

Well the time is here and I have to judge him on what he has said and what has actually happened.

Pardew clearly has no say on who is brought in, that takes away his authority as he can only select a team from what he's been given, thats not his team and that is not a good situation to be in as a manager and shows either a complete lack of faith in Pardews ability as a manager by the board or a complete lack of ambition from the board as they just want cheap options rather than a side the manager wants/needs to be able to compte with the other teams in this division.

Andy Carroll .. I'd change my mind also if £35Million was waved in my face for a striker with undoubted talent, but only half a good season in the prem

re:
only for Enrique to twitter that the club had not offered him an improved contract and that they were lying
or an Enrique imposter stirring up trouble?

WILL bring in a striker - fair point, they tried (take that as you will, I believe them), they failed .. AP has to be taken to account whether that was down to him or not

re:
Pardew clearly has no say in who is borught in
unsure about this point, were none of the 7 signings we did make anything to do with Pardew at all, was he not involved at any stage?? not so sure that is the case - but if you have a reputable quote from Pardew confirming then I stand corrected .. (the rest of that paragraph becomes moot)

So, the Pardew walking thing being pure fiction aside, it would not be in the best interests of the club for us to change manager, certainly not based on what many consider to be a relatively successful transfer window and the creation of what looks to be a solid good quality team that can really kick on from last season .. <ok>

I can't see Pardew leaving. However if he does, He won't have my respect as a manager anymore.
