The most vital part. Another song from memory that relied on a sax was Gerry Rafferty, and i'm sure Love is the Drug (Roxy Music) was written by a saxophonist.

Never thought about it in the past, but makes me realise how much they relied on the Sax. A mate of mine had a band with a Sax player, once he left replacing him was a mare.
 
Love the music, studied the history and literature of the era at uni. Always happily to bury myself in it.

I have no great knowledge mate. I’ve read a lot of stuff about that period and I think what happened in Vietnam was an awful mistake that was triggered by arrogance.
