I dont disagree with that. If europe and germany go kaput then yes the euro will be in trouble.

Theres certainly unrest and even after mentioning all those issues the euro is still remaining as strong as ever over the pound (currently). I cant predict the future and if the eu disbands so will the euro (presumably) but i was just pointing out that europe and the uk are going through the same problems and more (judging by your outlook of what has happened on italy france greece etc) so your statement of the EUR going to **** if the circumstances were the same currently isnt true <ok>.

Although I agree totally with you I think after hearing Tusk again it may have got lost in translation regarding his response. He was responding to her choices she had back home and not what he thought. Saying that he if did actually me it as a threat he will only make more people here turn against them. Project fear was tried and failed. We are not that stupid.

Any more good news soundbites from the happy farm? Whatever you are on, I want some. Can't you see I'm only trying to save you from yourself - all that rage and disappointment you will feel when we come to the next cliff edge, and Theresa caves in as you see it., bow to the inevitable as I do you will feel when the EU doesn't cave in and your lot . Not only are you addled - you must be going senile old boy. What is this people's vote I am asking for. I'm not and never have. the again it could be me who is going senile and I've forgotten what I said over the last three years. Care to remind me.

My position remains Bring it on. You won. We lost. (I always do!) but when the **** hits the fan I hope that the casualties are not the majority of decent folk but rather the charlatans on the Leave side who brought it about. Don't even need to wait for the sinking ship. They started to run away under cover of darkness when asked to put up a measly 48 votes and we hadn't even set sail then.

Did BBC hire a 'fake vicar' to back Theresa May's Brexit deal on Newsnight? Viewers discover guest is actress who appeared in Star Wars and EastEnders and claims to have been ordained by a US evangelist
    • Lynn Hayter appeared on Newsnight on Monday to defend the Brexit agreement
    • She appeared sporting a dog collar and fiercely debated five other panellists
    • She has worked as an extra, who performs under her middle name Marina

The BBC has come under fire after it booked a Star Wars extra who calls herself a pastor through an agency for a Brexit discussion.
The broadcaster denied hiring a 'fake vicar' to appear on its flagship political programme after social media users hit out at the corporation.
Lynn Hayter appeared on Newsnight on Monday to defend Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit withdrawal agreement on the UK leaving the European Union.
Today she angrily denied she had been paid by the BBC as she spoke to MailOnline outside her home.
Ms Hayter, whose 'ordination' seems to have come in the form of a certificate from a US televangelist, said: 'I was not paid by the BBC . They did not pay me. I was contacted by an independent organisation and asked to appear.'

Viewers were baffled by the appearance as some accused the broadcaster of planting her as a backer of May's plan
Hayter, who was dressed in a bright red tracksuit, was pulled inside her North West London home by a friend.
Speaking from behind the door the 51-year-old said 'of course' she is a pastor and added that to lie about it on national TV would be 'stupid and crazy.'
Lynn, from Wembley, north west London, said: 'I wouldn't be on TV lying about something like that, that's stupid and crazy. A person can easily be a pastor and an actress at the same time.'
She added: 'I belong to a church in America that I attend online. I do not need to travel to attend my church.
'I have a pastor in America that covers me and I attend the church via their social media channels.'
Neighbours said they knew Hayter was an actress but were not aware she was a pastor or wore a dog collar.
'That is news to me' said one neighbour. We all knew she was an actress. She is very friendly and has talked about her work.'

Lynn Hayter (pictured appearing on last night's Newsnight show) spoke on a Newsnight panel last night, leading to questions as to how she was allowed on the show
Twitter users weighed in on Miss Hayter's appearance and it was dubbed as 'Vicargate'
Miss Hayter is listed as a pastor on Facebook at a group called Seeds for Wealth Ministries, which claims to 'help you realise, release and walk into your financial freedom in Christ'.
She was not referred to as a priest in the BBC captioning and panellists sourced through the broadcaster's production methods were told to wear their normal clothes.
But she has also worked as an on-screen extra, and has a profile listing her profession as 'actor' on the social media site.
When she launched Seeds for Wealth in a YouTube video, she hinted that she has been involved in ministry before.

This Twitter user wasn't convinced by Miss Hayter's appearance as a pastor on the BBC, much like other viewers. She is pictured here addressing a congregation in worship

The actress (pictured in character) has not only appeared in Star Wars but also EastEnders, which led viewers to believe that she was a plant
'I'm going back into ministry - the lord has called me back,' she said. 'God's put a message on my heart hes equipped me and I'm going for it.'
But she does not mention if anybody has ordained her, nor does she appear to have an actual church as she petitions viewers to invite her to talk.
'I have been called to unlock the seeds that are in each and every one of us and in doing so that will take you to a higher level that will release you into your financial freedom,' she says. 'Your'e going to have to invite me to your church to have me preach.'

She claims to have been 'endorsed' by American evangelist Mike Murdock from The Wisdom Centre, calling him her 'pastor and mentor' and tweeting a certificate he awarded her after she took part of his Jerusalem Project.
She tweeted a picture of Murdock's Mind Bible book, which he sells as part of a $99 'Ministry 6 PAK'.
Other pictures on her Twitter profile show the pair meeting and social media shows that she has been to his events in the US and also seen him when he has visited London.
In the video online she invites people to send her Christian-themed items to sell on her Seeds for Wealth store on Amazon.
Miss Hayter, who performs under her middle name Marina, recently appeared in the blockbuster film Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
This has led to accusations that the BBC hired her specifically to appear on the show playing the part of a vicar.

As many asked whether or not there was any proof that Ms Hayter has been ordained, this apparent pastor certificate was found on her Twitter, signed by evangelist Mike Murdock
The argument was dubbed 'Vicargate', with some on social media convinced she was acting.
Labour peer Andrew Adonis waded into the furore, telling his Twitter followers he believed Miss Hayter to be a fake.
He sarcastically commented 'Lynn is a pastor' and I am the Pope', before calling her a 'fake pastor' and accusing the BBC of 'a reign of lies'.
Miss Maitlis quickly reprimanded Lord Adonis, warning him 'not to become a peddler of fake news'.
She tweeted: 'Not in this day and age. Not when we need our parliamentarians to be better and more trusted than ever.

Tusk has only repeated what May herself said after she made her agreement. It's her deal, otherwise no deal or no Brexit.

Germany made billions on Greece’s debt crisis, Berlin confirms
please log in to view this image

Berlin has been one of the main lenders to Greece during its debt crisis. While conservative parties warned that supporting Greece would come at the cost of the German taxpayer, new figures show Germany has made money on the crisis.
The German government released figures on Thursday in response to parliamentary question from the Green Party which show that Germany has made €2.9 billion in interest payments on Greek bonds since 2010.
Since 2010 Germany has been buying Greek government bonds as part of an EU deal to prop up the struggling Greek economy. The bonds were bought by the Bundesbank and then transferred to the federal treasury.
Initial agreements with the government in Athens set out that any interest earned on the bonds would be paid back to Greece when it fulfilled its reform obligations.
But the figures published by the government on Thursday show that Germany made €3.4 billion in interest payments on the bonds and only paid Greece €527 million in 2013 and €387 million the following year. That left €2.5 billion in profit, plus interest of €400 million on a loan from the KfW development bank.
The Green party have responded to the figures by calling for debt relief for Greece.
“Contrary to all the myths spread by people on the right, Germany has profited massively from the crisis in Greece,” said Green MP Sven-Christian Kindler.
“It can’t be the case that the government makes billions in profits on Greek debt which it puts into the German budget,” he added.
The Greeks have kept their side of the bargain by making painful cuts to the budget but “now it is the Euro group's time to keep its promises,” said Kindler.
On Thursday, Eurozone ministers will try to resolve their differences over the terms of Greece’s departure from its massive bailout programme with splits over the degree of debt relief needed by cash-strapped Athens.
If successful the talks will mark an important milestone for Europe nine years after Greece stunned the world with out-of-control debts and set the scene for three bailouts and a near collapse of the euro single currency.
Finance ministers from the 19 countries that use the single currency are seeking to agree debt relief and a sizeable cash cushion for Greece that will reassure financial markets on the ability of Athens to stand on its own.
As ever in the Greek debt crisis, Germany is the most resistant to debt relief and has demanded that Athens be closely tracked on reform implementation after the programme ends this summer.
Opposite the hardliners, who also include the Netherlands and other northern eurozone countries, are France and the European Central Bank, which argue that reduced debt is crucial in order for Greece to gain the trust of the markets.

Now that Turkish has got that off his chest tell us what other realistic option there is that will please the Tories, all 50 shades of blue,. and the Labour party who are just as split. Labour have enough collective sense to want to honour the Referendum result but that does not mean they buy into any of the Tory visions and, so far as I can see most Corbynista loyalists will vote which ever way gets the general election for them as quickly as possible. In other words they will vote against any proposal unless it delivers on all of their agenda. Socialism surrendered up on a plate

So once you've got the red mist out of your eyes what compromise do you believe should be made which will deliver the Brexit you want and you believe the remainder of the 17.4 million who voted to leave. It may make you all feel better to rage about traitors and betrayal but at some point within the next couple of years at the most you are all going to have to start talking to one another to agree one unified Brexit position. Fail to do that and you will inevitably have passed the baton to Jeremy Corbyn.

Until there is a united front in the UK what possible reason do the Europeans have to make any real concessions on what has been agreed already

MAY actually said there are two options leave under her deal, or leave with no deal,Tusk has stated if we don’t agree with THE DEAL, there will be no Brexit, he as much as said we will not be allowed to leave with no deal, in other words we cannot leave without giving them £39 Billion, and agreeing to “their “ backstop which actually ties us to the corrupt EU until THEY let us go.
The more you read into it, the EU are desperate to hold onto us and our contributions because they have begun to realise that without us they cannot afford to continue to function as almost all the other major contributors have said they WILL NOT make up the shortfall.

Sadly the enemy within don’t help our position. Talk now is that the no deal will probably be the best outcome. By that they mean that once it happens and starts to hurt each side deals and concessions will happen.
I still think she will be gone soon and another leader will sort it. I doubt Corbyn would get in either.

Once again I agree with most of that. Sadly people have underestimated us. They believe that 27 is better than 1. In some cases it is but if 22 of the 27 are crap Then it’s a different story. Especially if 2 or 3 have to support 24 others?
Nigel Farage summed it up this week by congratulating Barnier for taking the P out of us in the deal.

Getting desperate, Ellers? Stick your fingers in your ears.

By the way, the true 'enemy within' is anybody that advocates No Deal as the best outcome. Are you one of them?

Its not that a no deal is the best outcome, the EU cannot afford to let any country out, because if that country prospers, or even heaven forbid does OK, then the EU project fails. Greece and Italy would lead the stampede for the exits.
So they will only tie any proposed exit deal in knots.
Which is why May has come back with the hash of a deal, that we see.
The only chance the UK has of getting the deal that the referendum should have delivered, is threatening no deal.
