Thank you DD. Now this MDT is finally completed and the General has kindly decided to stop rocking the boat, I'm a little bit calmer about this weekend.
It feels much more secure having DD tied down to a permanent contract, though.
The previous arrangement gave him and us precious little security.
A similar 'swoop' sure did the trick for Matty Jarvis <yikes> ;)

Edit, On the subject of Jarvis, look what I just found on Newsnow !
After three fairly poor seasons with West Ham, Jarvis joined Norwich on an initial season-long loan deal. He made seven appearances for the Canaries, scoring two goals, including one on his debut and a result of that, Norwich signed him for a reported £2.5 million fee although he was injured. <doh> Since then, he’s struggled with injuries and has barely played for the club.

Anyone involved in that decision really needs to be flogged in front of city hall whilst begging for forgivness of their sheer stupidity. It isn't just easy to say that was a stupid move in hindsight, it looked a poor decision even back then.

Bah!

Going to be a tough game. I don't think it will be pretty. Hope the crowd doesn't start to get on their backs if it's still 0-0 in the second half.

On another note. Rainbow Shoe laces and Rainbow cake will be given out outside the ground to support of the LGBT+ community across all aspects of the game.

They don't want to have any left over, so don't forget to nab yours before the game!

TettBull did well last season, so let’s hope they can rediscover that in the next couple of weeks!!!
Hanley to play in Under 23 game this evening
Home game, do you go with Vrancic instead? You'd expect Rotherham to pack the defence and look for a point, perhaps we need the extra creativity?

Cantwell is surely the most likely to replace Onel. At what point does Onel start to get a reputation as injury prone? Is that 3 or 4 since he joined in January?

Luckily, we have good options to replace Hernandez, so not overly concerned re injuries and it was a HORRENDOUS pitch on Tuesday. They'd left the grass long to disrupt our passing game. <doh>

Match facts
  • Norwich are unbeaten in 10 home matches against Rotherham in all competitions (W4 D6) since a 1-2 defeat in April 1966.
  • Rotherham are looking to win back to back league games against Norwich for the first time since October 1966.
  • Norwich are looking to win four consecutive home league games for the first time since February 2017.
  • Rotherham have drawn each of their last three league games on the road - they haven't drawn four consecutively on their travels in the second-tier of English football since 1965-66, when they did so twice.
  • Norwich sit on 37 points from their opening 19 games this season, making them the 21st side to achieve this total or higher after as many games in the Championship since 2008-09 - 17 of the previous 20 were promoted to the Premier League.
  • Norwich are the only side of the 72 in the Football League yet to have an Englishman score a league goal for them this season (excluding own-goals)

Vrancic for Trybull and Cantwell for Onel for me. Agree. <ok>
